+ojani greene For spins and turns please check my videos about double right and double left turn. They will be helpful I hope. Salsa on2 or Ny style is started by the lady going forward with the right and he guy going back with the left foot. However it might vary depending on the style of a dancer. If you say about Eddie... seems strange to me I never saw him starting on 1 with the right ....he might start with the right foot but on 2. Can you send me the link to the video you're relating to?

Depends on your level, maybe it's just not for you right now, dance for 2, 3 more months and come back to it again. Also, try to slow down the video using the slow down function of TH-cam :)
