Inspired by the highly edited meme-ey gaming content made by Sethorven and GrosGhiles, I decided to put by own hat in the ring.
I'm relatively proud of how this turned out.

Tbh anyone insane enough to pilot a mech whose primary goal is to attack other big stompy is robots with a fucking battle axe should just be called a Methwarrior.

I remember when I first found out about the Hatchetman...it was in a Dark Age Clix box I got from a Goodwill alongside like 20 others of various models and shapes, I thought it was like...a weaponized civilian mech, for lumber work.
I still love that stupid thing.
Bit of a shame they never added the Axman. Hatchetman's big brother is even better.
@@Spore9996 the back story of the main reason the axeman was created. Adam stiener, the head of House Steiner, the rullong family of the Lyran commonwealth loved the hatchetman. Adams subordinates where very worried about the head of state taking to the field in a 45 ton mech and they could not convince him to use a heavier mech. Thier solution? Make a bigger hatchetman.

Too true, but the funniest thing is that the 1 stock variant in the clan arsenal with a melee weapon is a Nova more focused on being a Space Pirate than actual melee ;)

This is my favorite mech in MW5 atm- slapping a massive 100 kmh+ engine on it then running at multiple medium, heavy and assault mechs suicidally works 7/10 times! ez kills once you get behind them.

It’s a medium mech with a focus on melee combat. It’s literally a piece of flannel away from being Paul Bunyan with the kinda stuff you can pull.
Hatchetman is perfectly suited for the Inner Sphere's optimal engagement range... Toe to toe.

the game really drags without mods huh ... I haven't even gotten through the main campaign yet and I'm already tired as fuck of watching the got damn space travel animations or waiting for the escorts to 'think'
Not worth it to grind to do fun stuff.. just edit everything and make the scenarios you want hmm
The base game is quite good vanilla for me, but once you know what you like (or don't like) about vanilla you can mod to your liking
