Making the best of bad weather is the only thing a positive person can do. The longest and fondest memories often happen during times of adversity. We didn't get to see you try the bike.

Adam and Jane, just love your video’s. Helps me not missing the Philippines as much. My wife and I were in Mindanao and Cebu just in March. Got to stay in our house in Mindanao for a couple of weeks. I was wondering what resort you are in Cebu. We might be back next May to renew our 10 year wedding vows.

I love these breakfast buffets! They always want to make me taste everything, but I can't eat that much in the morning. That's probably because I stopped having breakfast when I stopped working. It looks like you picked a very nice place to stay. Too bad about the weather, but I know that won't stop you from enjoying some family time together! Have fun!
A lovely resort the food in the evening looked particularly nice. Was the barrier around the construction zone coincidental or prescient when it said "a refreshing breeze around the corner"?

Hi Adam and Jane kumusta originally I came from Ormoc but at the moment I live in UK but planning to go back to live in the Philippines for good but worried might we have no enough money to live there especially the medication and hospital are very expensive at the moment I have no idea if we need a visa there to live my partner is an English man and he wonder if he needs a visa to live there in the Philippines he doesn't know what to do I hope you can give us all the information how you and Jane travelled to the Philippines to live there for good do we have to apply any paperwork before we decided to travel and decide to live there.Thank you.xx
Hi, its one of those topics where it will be different for everyone. The best advice is to come over a few times amd try to get an idea about what you need and create a budget. If you are married you can enter on a 1 year balikbayan visa with no cost. If not your partner can enter for 30 days and extend visa afterwards providing he travels with a return ticket for within the 30 days. To live he would need a residency visa which would depend on whether married, age etc
No such thing as out of season living here. Tell the entire tourism industry that. Very important for people to travel and most from the USA and UK travel here in July and August as its school summer holidays.
Its monsoon season , which is classed as low season , we frequent thailand and its much the same . The plus in low season is the hotels are very low priced compared to that of high season 😂😂😂

The school holidays here also are in July which keeps prices up. When you have a vacation with children you don't have much other option. Last year in Bohol at the same time was beautiful. In Boracay August was incredible.

This happen yesterday in Cebu City...Authorities here have identified the saleslady who was found lifeless and naked inside her rented house in Barangay Bulacao, Cebu City, on Friday afternoon, August 2. The deceased was identified as Charina Baoy Relativo, 27. According to police, a friend of her live-in partner found her body at around 10:00 a.m. when he went to check on her because she was not replying to messages. She was raped, burned then murdered.
We don't regret our decision to move to the Philippines my friend. We are sad with what is happening all around the world but all anyone can do is focus on what is best for them and be positive. Things will get better. Have a great weekend 😊
