You guys shocked the Cebuanos. Hope you enjoyed this year's sinulog compared to last year. Next time try to purchase tickets so you could watch the contingents perform their Sinulog dance while you're sitting comfortably on grandstand. Welcome back guys. Be safe always. ❤
The SRP Sinulog fireworks show was a lot more epic. It lasted around 30 minutes. Then another fireworks from SM Seaside, and then another from Nustar hotel.
Just wondering if you went all the way to Nustar casino and resort. . That’s where the action took place and on the opposite side was the grandstand for the competition. It’s unfortunate again that this year you didn’t see the street dancing in full and were not able to interact with the dancers. I don’t know you guys but other vloggers had successful experience and it showed in their videos. I think the trick to go there is by late afternoon like 4 pm ‘cause that’s when the street parade is on full force. The finale fireworks was at 9 pm in that area where the grandstand was. It was after the show and there was also displays of drones. Anyway, you tried to come and enjoy the festival parade but as you said, it’s not your type and same with the street party. The effort you guys put up and the patience is very much appreciated by your viewers and the Cebuanos.
I was just smiling, giggling and laughing at times watching this video. Your patience and persistence is immeasurable. Like, I mean, I am a Filipino myself, grew up with festivals everywhere, even joined street dancing and showdowns, but I just cant stand being one of the audiences with this heat and packed.
I would recommend PANAGBENGA (FLOWER FESTIVAL) February 24- Grand Street Dance Parade February 25-Grand Floral Float Parade but check online if there's any changes on the date.
That's part of the sacrifice, salute you two, you will be blessed more and more, it's normal because of so many devotees, experienced the parade, you are getting a Filipino heart, Goodluck to your upcoming journey again, God bless
I think other locals didn’t know their way too. They were just walking aimlessly but yes, other vloggers made some good videos and interacted with the dancers during rest time.
I hear you Trifate. Thinking the same about bringing children. If I were to go to Sinulog, I’d go in the afternoon and the night street party. Thank you for giving it a second chance. There are other big festivals throughout the year hopefully you are not put off going to some. Anyhoo, Pit Señor! 🇵🇭😎
I know that this is about the Philippines series, but I hope you guys can witness one of the parades in Malaysia. KL or Putrajaya normally hosts the national day (31 August) celebration parade, lots of marching band. KL, Kuching or Kota Kinabalu rotates yearly on the Malaysia day (15 September) celebration. KL used to host Citrawarna, a colorful traditional art and culture parade at Dataran Merdeka, also flowers float parade for the locals and tourists but both of this events had been discontinued.
You could have gone to the downtown area where the parade passes by. The novena around the cathedral is also good with devotees dancing with their own Sto. Ninos. I’ve seen vloggers who went there it was great.
It's Iloilo Dinagyang Festival this 4th Sunday of January, hailed as the Queen Festival of the Philippines, awarded as the Best Tourism Event in the Philippines for many years and a Champion in the Battle of Festivals at Aliwan Fiesta in Manila. I hope you guys are coming 😁
The Sinulog grand parade is different from what you expected compared to other festivals, not sure how others do it but for Sinulog, there are designated areas where perforners dance.i also observed that in your vlogs, u dnt usually ask around locals.. the reason why the parade stops because they need to wait for those performers who is inside the main stage finish their performace. aside from the performers, there are floats with celebrities/influencers lined up to get inside the main stage thats why its taking long.
It’s just the same as the other festivals in Phil, they have designated areas to perform. And yuh they should ask more to locals since they will be the best guide when it comes to this events.
I remember Trifate years ago having just around 7k followers when they arrived here in the Ph. I thought they were having a bromance until I found out they are relatives.i followed a lot of travel vloggers before and I unfollowed them some months after. But I remained loyal to this channel because of their humor. Keep up the good work! More followers to come!
Next festival is in Iloilo..this Jan. 27,28...the best festival...booked ur hotel earlier..might fully booked..so much foreigners are here every january...our "Dinagyang Festival"...Iloilo is the best place...lots of big hitels and big buildings which in in" Mega World"..thetes also in" Festive Walk"..u will enjoy here
You guys should join the ati-atihan festival in aklan instead, it's more fun. Festival goes on for a week, parades go on from morning till night time, you get to join the parade, march along the streets with different groups. Different special events for each day, Schedule is pretty accurate.
That bridge is called CCLX, and I remember seeing the architectural facts about it when I was at seaside, with a cool lightning shot captured serendipitously too. It’s a private kind of bridge where you have to pay to use, which bummed me out ugh.
Biscuit Bois Sinulog Season 2! Dang, the parade is packed to the gills! 36:45 It looks like you guys had a long day, you have dookie all over your face. 🤣🤣🤣
Nice you go to philippines and you are in cebu to atteng the sinulig festival the filipino visayas in cebu celebrating sinulig festival a happy and amzing.
If you don't have anything scheduled for May 15th, I think you'll enjoy Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon. It's not as big as Sinulog, but it's pretty cool. It involves more exploring and walking around which I think is within your interests. There are also other places in Lucban and its neighboring towns that are worth exploring like hiking/camping sites and other epic places.
From our hotel in Cebu city, the moment u go down, u can witness the parade just by walking a few streets away. Albeit crowded, we didn't have to go to SM mall for that. It lasted throughout the day until evening and we got exhausted from joining that party atmosphere.
FYI Iglesia ni Cristo is not a catholic church. The festive is more catholic christian celebration. I love that you are back vlogging about Philippines. I did watch your Singapore, Malaysian adventure. More power to you guys!
Hi guys! Next year, try the Iloilo City ( dinagyang) and or Kalibo ( close to Boracay - Ati Atihan) festivals. It's the whole City parties that groups just randomly dancing in any streets while roaming around. It's also in January.
Yeah and after 8 hrs of short revelry, time to go to sleep. Worst, the city has been plunged into the darkness for years due to wide-scale power outages. There's isn't so much to do in Iloilo. Visitors should proceed to Boracay AtiAtihan instead.
@HuangHwei if you travel north of the province, there are a series of islands called Higantes. There is a secret lagoon surrounded by the cliff, several islands with mountains and white sand beaches, a sand bar in the middle of the sea, a cave where locals hide inside during World War 2
Geez, your Sinulog 2024 is quite an experience, the crowd, the scorching sun and the random face paint is frackin crazy, You braved all these and kept cool! That is very epic! . The only festival I've gone to is the Pahiyas festival in Lucban, Quezon. And if ever I will go to some festival again , it would be Festival Mall haha, theres AC and a lot of food choices 😂
Glad to see you back in Sinulog 2024, next time you can skip the crowd and take videos of the performance in the street..security allows bloggers to get up close.
Pls try dinagyang festival in Iloilo, last week of this month, the energetic festival in the Philippines... I'm ur subscriber from Cavite Philippines,, I'm always watch ur vlog in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore. Especially here in the Philippines... thanks for comback again here in Philippines. Take care always...God bless both of you Isaac and Tayler... hope ur followers is rise for 1million..

I miss Sinulog… I always enjoy the parade, the dance, costumes, float etc.. just really have to know which street they perform and It was a different venue of the grand parade years ago.. i can’t imagine the heat in SRP. Aww i’m sorry 😔 I should’ve made a suggestion where you guys can stay and watch. But I really wished you both at least enjoy than last time.. not a fan of street party as well they are fun but wild 😁

And you should be able to go down and get out of the hotel to watch the parade and go up to your room if you’re tired and go down to continue watching. At times, some hotels have terraces where you can watch in the hotel without umbrellas distracting.
Sinulog since last year in its new location hasn't been exactly the same as the past years before pandemic, because of this new venue since last year, the travel to the new venue has been a headache to some. Have you tried Kalibo Ati-atihan? It happens same time as Sinulog. It's a one-week affair. You gotta try it for a change, but it's not exactly the same as Sinulog, you got to experience it to know the difference.
Expectations can be different from reality. Street dancing with the parade's fully masked, super colorful Sinulog dancers were always the expectations as mostly featured in t.v.news channels and magazines, with some occassional foreign tourists joining in. The sidelines were seldom seen but is what was featured here from the perspective of part of the audience. Good work.

I think other locals didn’t know their way too. They were just walking aimlessly but yes, other vloggers made some good videos and interacted with the dancers during rest time.
I think to better experience the Sinulog Festival is to have a local contact person there in Cebu that can help you.
Oh so sorry to hear about your experience. I personally hate crowds and traffic. At least you gave it one more chance. 😊
