➨ A Tragédia no Japão começou em 11 de março com o mais violento terremoto já registrado no país: 9 graus na escala Richter. A ele, seguiu-se o tsunami que arrasou a costa nordeste do território. Morreram mais de 15 mil pessoas.

子供達心配だーと女性の声…どんな気持ちだったか…どうすることも出来なく、ただ案ずることしか出来ない状況。怖すぎます。
この建物がこれだけの水の流れを耐え抜いたことに驚きです。本当に恐ろしい。。貴重な映像ですね。。。

To me, this is one of a handful of the scariest video ive ever seen of the earth quake and subsequent tsunami. Its terrifying, and I cant imagine what those right there must have felt. Prayers to those affected by this, those who dies because of it, and those who are still struggling with this 10 years on. My heart is still heavy for Japans loss. Things can be replaced, people cannot.
This is by far the scariest video of all the footage. Pure power.
Seeing how fast and powerful and vast that water was must have been terrifying.
Thank goodness the building held, but you wouldn't know that at the time ...
@@melodiefrances3898 I saw that they did not survive, the building did, but the water reached the top and they were swept away. So sad.
The building they are on isn't very tall and doesn't seem as likely to hold up as those in other videos. One has to wonder if these people even survived, or if the video was recovered from the phone's memory card during cleanup?

この水流に耐えた建物がすごい
石巻に住んでいてこの辺は毎日今でも通ります。絶句とはまさにこの事。というほど言葉でませんでした。雪降ってて寒かったな……怖かったな。

It's amazing how fast it develops. Initially it's 1-2 feet high and it looks like maybe a person could just run from it. Not even 2 minutes later it's 10 feet high, maybe double the speed, and tearing every...single... TREE out of the ground

横浜に住んでて震度5弱、当時小4だったけど、5弱で教室の床が崩れ落ちるんじゃないか？って思ったレベルで東北の人は震度7。さらにこんな津波まで来てたら精神が崩壊してる
パニックになるなって言う方が無理な話だよねーーー。
自分も震度7を喰らいましたが家が持ち堪えてくれたので助かりました。取り潰しましたが。

目視で確認してから逃げても手遅れなのがわかる‥
高い建物が有ったとしても入れなきゃ意味ないし入れたとしても瞬時に階段見つけるのが遅れれば津波に巻き込まれてしまう‥
早めの行動を心掛けなきゃ駄目なんだな

It escalated so quickly. Just a minute or two from a trickle to a raging torrent.

津波の恐ろしさ、状況、感情の変化、よくわかりました。
避難して安心していたところ、徐々に水嵩が増え、勢いを増し、一向に止まらない。
周りの街は真っ黒な海化、
どうしたらいいかわからない、
どうなるのかわからない、
全員が不安と恐怖、離れている家族はどうしているのかなど…大人でも人前だろうが泣きたくなります。
女性の不安に、大丈夫だと何度も声掛けしてくれている優しい男性、自分も恐怖の中で他人を思い、強くて優しい方ですね。
考えさせられます。

In canada i live in a flood prone area but this just makes our issue seem like a puddle. Never could i complain after seeing this. The terror watching the water come up closer to the roof of where you hsve no where else to run and how deep and fast its rushing is something i couldnt comprehend. This is unbelievable. Their city is wiped right off of the map in front of them

I have seen many, many videos of this event, and this is one of the most terrifying ones out there, that shows the sheer force and devastation/loss of life the tsunami caused. Prayers to all those who died, and to all those still suffering almost 10 years on.
How far away from the coast are they in this video? I can't even see the coastline, just water pouring down the street
@@erictyson5947 About 2 miles. Its very flat and low, hence the speed in which the water comes in.

この状況にまでなると、なすすべもない事がよくわかるけれど、こういう事態の時に危険を回避する言葉「～かもしれない」を、早くに冷静に判断し行動に移すべきと痛感。誰もが恐怖心や不安や心配で震える程だっただろうな…。こんな事態ではパニックになる人も沢山だろうけど、自分の恐怖心を抑え“大丈夫！”とまわりに言葉をかけてあげられる強さも大事だなと思った。
4日連続東日本大震災の動画見てるけど
この動画が1番死を覚悟する動画だった。
私が小学校卒業式の日にこんな災害が起きていたなんて…。こんな事がめの前で起こったらもうほんとにトラウマ。

É claro que vc fica com medo, vc não conhece o mapa geológico de placas tectônica, se conhecesse saberia que onde vc mora não há riscos de terremotos e tsunamis pq está fora das linhas das placas.

I've seen a video where people were driving in small town and suddely waves appeared out on nowhere and took them away. Those same cars ended up beneath a bridge with all trash swept by the tsunami

Nothing can stop these nature power. I was really shocked when I saw the tsunami came over fukushima. Unbelievable destroying ! From one to another moment you think the world goes under !
God did this. Not nature. God wanted to murder these people for worshipping buddha or mohammad. God is a very jealous god so he will murder anyone who doesnt follow the god of the holy bible. Another will happen again soon. ;) Enjoy it when it comes. I really love tsunami videos and seeing the death that occurs because its good that god's will is being done on the earth. people must be punished and learn from their mistakes.

All one can think while standing there high above the waters watching them come to shore and destroy everything on land is, there will be nothing left of our town and way of life here, it will take years and years to recover from this.. and family members.. no doubt there will be many missing or dead, gone forever.. I have watched so many of these you tube videos of the tsunami here and the amount of destruction is incomprehensible.. I hope that the people of Japan will understand going forward, any time there is any earthquake.. just go to higher ground just in case.. Its one thing to loose property, which can be replaced, but the loss of life.. I have no words..
