Great interview!
Great interview, I believe this was “the best” time in racing period. Rick made it look easy and did it with class.
Such a nice man. So kind. And he’s Rick Mears. Holy crap. 🙌
One of the legendary drivers!
Legend 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆
This is so awesome. Best Rick Mears interview ever. This man has been my hero since 1982, since I was 12 years old. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing interview. 🏁🏁
Have watched this through 3-times now, Indy's greatest champion.
I think so
Loved this interview. Thank you for sharing!
Great interview the best to ever do it. Rick Mears a living legend
Level-headed, calm, and cool. And not one curse word. Class personified.
Yep
This is awesome! Thanks for doing it and to Rick for sharing all these stories of a legendary life and career. I was a huge CART/Indy Car fan as a kid and lucky for me that was the Golden Era, which is still great to watch today, some of the best racing ever, anywhere. And all the great of the time (Mears, Rahal, Mario and Michael Andretti, Big Al and Little Al, Danny Sullivan, Fittipaldi etc) were gentleman too. A different time...
Rick Mears the Oval king!...Those 2 oval crashes I witness in the 80's and 90's I will never forget!..Its amazing how he survived.
I was there at Indy for 3 of his 4 wins and Al Unser's 4th win.
Me too!
When my daughter learned how to drive, I first showed her Rick's 1988 Indy 500 qualifying run 😁
Not sure like if an editor failed to show up or what, came off rather unprofessional or amateurish. You have one of the greatest Indy drivers sitting down, which he rarely does and lights flickering, talking about someone who couldn’t make it, random pauses with direction. Rick was amazing but not sure why he agreed to this with so many professional options out there.
