What a lovely moment watching Mallory help with loading the eggs into the carton and feeding the animals. That would make me a very proud parent to see my own kids do that.👼
Ahh yes! Very proud parents for sure. We know these years will fly by fast so it's cherishing these little moments that's important to us. The girls have become very close friends and play well together, everyone is much happier living this life ☺️
@@NativeFarang unbelievable that she's doing all that while still in nappies. She's going to be a great help on the farm. I think you can put her in charge of the chickens by the time she turns 6.

Kids are great and you can treat them like children until around 14 and then they start acting and behaving like adults. Teenagers will be something else altogether@@NativeFarang
Decades ago when I was a young parent juggling the demands of a job, daily obligations as a husband, and watching over my 3 year old daughter having that look of desperation (?), an older friend of mine ( in his 60’s at the time) said to me, “Some day you’ll look back at those years as your most enjoyable…” 😮 I thought he was crazy at the time but now being a senior, he was correct. I reminisce those younger years when I look at your videos with your children. It’s true, they do grow up quickly. It’s refreshing to see a young couple on TH-cam working as a team to make their dreams work out In Thailand.
Even though they're still very young we can see that time is going very quickly and so we're really glad to be able to spend all this time together out here and really enjoy life! That's one of the main reasons we started TH-cam, for the memories to look back on 😊 Thank you so much for the lovely comment 🙏

@@jackmercer4244 Yeah I feel you on that one, we have to keep a close eye on them that's for sure! So far, luckily, mosquitos haven't been much of an issue, but we have all the creams and sprays etc if needed! 🙏

We've heard there's some sort of an Indian summer in the UK, always the way once the kids go back to school 😂 Maybe we're bias but yes they do taste better. But we used to buy eggs from local farms in the UK and even those were way better than supermarket ones! 😊
Cheers Ben! A bit of a different one, more relaxed this one with just clips from here and there. The eggs, we are selling very cheap at the moment. We could get 100-120 baht per tray easily but we sell it to a buyer for 80 baht each and she buys them all. When we expand we will be charging more, but probably only 100-110 baht per tray though.

I didn't have my Thai ID when I came so I got an education visa, same as my partner - after this I won't need a visa and we'll look at other options for her. And no the children don't need a visa, but we'll be registering them as Thai soon anyway 😊

@nativefarang I was wondering if you had seen any evidence of snakes in the chicken pen. I know you put up the mesh for protection, but I'm thinking that if a snake did get in, the chickens would probably attack it. I think snakes aren't good at defending against so many attackers, so they probably stay away?
So far we haven't noticed anything in their hut/pen, but perhaps you're right! Safety in numbers and all that 😅 To be honest we haven't seen any snakes on the farm in general for a while now!
Funnily enough we did have a beehive at the back in our bamboo tree, we found some honeycomb that had fallen on the floor not too long ago! Could be a possibility 😊
