Gotta wonder about those Combi van bars in markets where the drinks taste weird. Poor young girls in Laos consuming methanol spiked drinks. All dead now. I'd recommend never buying a drink in any bars or marketplace that isn't in a sealed can or bottle - or just go to 7-eleven

Sombat Banchamek is one of my favorite Muay Thai master. You will laugh at this one, there's a anime called Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple and I won't spoil much if anyone hasn't seen it, but there's a Muay Thai master in it that might be Sombat since it looks kind of like him named Apachai Hopachai. If there's a movie made out of that anime, I sure hope they have Sombat play the Muay Thai master. Maybe you can run the idea by Sombat and possibly make another favorite Thai movie (Pattaya Heat is a great movie). On the serious side now, I wish everyone gets well soon. What a fantastic sight and this annual spectacle is always something to marvel at. So many magnificent beasts enjoying a banquet. You will not see such a sight with so many elephants anywhere else in the world. Sadly you will not see so many together in the wild either these days, so if this event does nothing else but encourage people to conserve the dwindling population of Asian elephants in the wild, then it has served its purpose. Thank you Nat, Camila and the girls for sharing this sight with us, which is truly part of Thailand's heritage. God bless you all 😀❤🙏

Yehhhhh, Nahhhhhhh ,went saturday arvo ..guess what no show ,it was only in the morning ...the food stall attendants said it lures people to the market after the elephant show in the morning ...... they should organise two shows , morning and afternoon. Food stalls perfect ,but it's an elephant show , it should be an all day event with elephants everyday, with small programes if it tires the elephants.... Yes live in the next town "SANGKHA".....15 years +..........( someone tell me where the program or itienary was on line or at the entrance ...did i miss it ??????...

Haha.. I just went thru the exact same thing.. but for a car I purchased. It took me 5 friging hours from start to finish to transfer the car to my name lol... it was quite a process and lot of queuing.. not like in UK :D ..but eventually I made it! Car is mine lol
