For such great projects they are usually under stress and alot of engineering done but they are never 100% sure that everything will go to plan, a slight wiring mistake over the billions of wires available could take the whole thing to waste, it's called being prepared for the worst but still praying for the best.

Mentos 93 I get your point, but the satellites supposedly won’t be as bad when they are fully operational, as 1. Earlier satellites did not have sunshades; 2. The satellites start off in lower orbits; and 3. They start out with the solar panels tilted parallel to the Earth, meaning that more of sunlight reflected off towards us, which is solved when the solar rotates 90 degrees

SpaceX, unlike NASA, is a privately owned company. Also unlike NASA, SpaceX is capable of reusability.
