I am a white straight women who is 88 years old and when I saw the last episode, my heart sank because the writing sounded like an ending. This is my favorite show. It's taught me so much and touches my heart in so many ways. Congratulations to all the marvelous actors and actresses that make this so special and I'm cheering for the 2nd season!
Bobbe Salkowitz, lm 64. My nieces and daughter don't know the ball life their mom and aunt led. Going into a club on a friday night and just hang and party and then leaving the club its early morning Sunday. Lol. Damn where did the time go.

It got renewed for a s2! But since they weren’t sure of the renewal they end the season on a happy conclusion because almost all movies always have tragic endings for they LGBTQ characters so I’m sure it was one of their main focus to give hopeful and positive ending 💖

Man, I'm not the type to quote movies or TV shows. I dont have that.
Some of my homies do it.
However, this is the first show I've know ANY quotes. I'm not transgender and never been to a ball.
True, its transgender focused but this shows ventures into the myriad of human sexuality. That is like a diamond with many facets. I'm learning.
Personally, this show is a gift because I'm a black man. There is a need for empathy and compassion for me being that. I'm happy to watch this show and learn that same empathy towards other marginalized and disenfranchised subcultures

I love this how for many many reasons and got my semi-conservative sister in on it (she hates Trump but for a while had trouble with me being gay). She loves it! We are Puerto Rican and it makes me happy to see a strong female latina woman on a beautifully crafted show. I just hope MJ Rodriguez gets a freakin EMMY! If Reese Witherspoon got one, why can't MJ?!

This show brought back such fond memories of my club scenes back in those days. The friends an people I meet and the fun I had during that time in my life. And of course the sadness of the loss of some souls. There were Better Days and life did have its Circus'. But Pose puts a smile on my face and transport me to a happy place.

I'm a straight black woman living in NYC for 20+ years who never heard of this. I loooooveeed season 1. The music, cast, storylines and more than anything for me, information which helps stop prejudice I hope.
Another thing I appreciated was the use of afro-textured hair for Indya. I don't know if it was a wig or not, but even ANTM slaps straight hair on black women. There's nothing wrong with variety of style, but I as a natural sista liked seeing that.
Such a great interview, and the love& support between these two, so great to see.

This show is so freaking amazing! I'm gay, however, never knew the transgender scene. I'm so blown away at how amazing this show is. I have totally fallen in love with Blanca! She is the epitome of me with her selfless love and caring of others. This show has already gone down as one of the top shows in my lifetime.

It shows that acceptance isn't something that everyone gets eventhough they should get it and that transphobia and racism unfortunately is still a thing in a way
Also it spreads awareness to aids and that you should protect yourself when having sex. Also something people should already know by now but many still ignore it

I can say as a actor , there nothing more fun then playing the opposite SEX ! I am a real woman ('wombman' means a man with a womb that has can give birth to children. That's what a "real woman" is.) When I played a man in my acting training ( SAG-AFTER) I discovered a part of myself that was life changing. An I use to love to go to this dinner show in HOLLYWOOD, given by guys in drag, . So, Pose is great. But we could always tell when Janet Mock wrote the episode. Her storytelling takes you to happy place and then shatters it. She is so depressing with a sometimes entirely TOO HEAVY plot. Every episode didn't have to be some tear jerking melodramatic piece.
