Not being able to open out flat is a bad design choice. Another thought, the case should have a small battery to recharge the screwdriver after use, before you get back to base to charge the box.

Hi, I was looking it to buying the HOTO Electric Screwdriver and then saw this set. Can you tell me how the screwdriver in this set compares to the regular one? And have you heard about the Miniware Es15? I hear it's a great screwdriver as well.
I've not tried the other sorry. My guess by looking at it is that it would have more torque and a longer battery.
are the bitz in ifixit and hoto same size so you can use ifixit bitz in the hoto screwdriver?
Yep, just tried it with the bits in the precision kit.
Which one has superior build quality, or are they both very similar?
Both very similar to be fair
I came to check the quality of the bits since most of these kits bring poorly made, so soft that twist and deform with little amounts of force or strip the screws easily.
Also, you didn't test the screwdriver torque... they all spin with no load, but most of them can't lose a properly fasten screw so the video felt quite uninformative in my opinion. Hope your reviews are more than a product ad on the future.
I can always expand on parts if you ask me. I feel these are a similar quality to Ifixit's. When I cover the torque at 6:00 I thought it went without saying that if I can't simply hold it without it spinning, then it's going to be okay on screws. I've used this on a few things since and it did drive them in with good force.
I will make sure to demo something next time. It for sure wasn't an ad though. For one it would be stated as such, plus two, I like ifixit products more anyway.
