I just wish Dji came out with a drone like this 250 grams with their digital goggles system. I have a feeling we were all hoping the Avata was going to be that. Instead they made another heavy drone that is super loud with another pistol 🔫 grip irritating controller. This drone here is so cool 😎! Thanks again for sharing!
I think hardly anyone purchased the motion controller when it came out a few years ago, so they added it to this drone. The AVATA is designed for GPS Drone pilots that fly Mavics to experience the FPV (goggles). It is not a true FPV drone like the one in this video, but can still be fun... Although, typical crazy DJI expensive and propriatory DJI over priced batteries for it.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 yes agreed totally overpriced. The Avata might come in with the standard package 📦 at 600 dollars. I don’t think that will include the goggles 🥽. I will wait to see your review! I know it will be #epic

Definitely a mobula 6. It rips for the money and is INDISTRUCTABLE. Honestly it flies amazingly and I have crashed the hell out of it, I even drowned it in a bird bath and it still flies amazingly.
Sheila, my fav FPV drone(s) are not for beginners. Little pusher drones like this one or the PAVO 25 are great to learn on, or any Ready To Fly all in one FPV Kit (I have reviewed many on this channel).

I want to get the best starter ready to fly with goggles and controller so I know it's not your favorite fvp but I wondered if you had an idea what the best starter kit would be with the most bang for the buck. Thanks Steve.
@@sheiladavis2304 I’ll say this… for newbies the FPV hobby is very difficult. First you need to know how everything works together, especially programming a radio or operating a battery charger or using configuration software like Betaflight. Then there is the hand/eye coordination of flying an FPV drone. So with all of the above said be prepared to crash often as you learn and in some cases destroy your drone and have to try and repair it yourself (everything in the FPV hobby went through this on their journey to learning). The new DJI Avata is a beginner type of FPV drone designed for beginners. Other all in one kits that are very popular are the eachine Novice IV and III.
Hey big guy. Great little quad. Trying to get my boy to save up for the controller and ill buy him the FPV drone. But as hes learning. Not so easy to save up when you have to pay for other things you need lol. Haven't been around. Just got back from two weeks in Campbell River BC. Had a day off back home in tbay. Now back to Calgary for a couple days. Then ill come back and caught up on content. You do you bud. Can't wait to see some of the othe other stuff! ..... :)
For cheap inexpensive FPV goggles I always just go to BANGGOOD and search for FPV Goggles. For someone like me, I'd never use cheap goggles, but for a beginner, you get what you can afford.
I believe in Canada you can technically fly over vehicles as long as they are enclosed if you are operating in the 250g-25kg range… but you can’t fly over people within a 100ft radius (basic cert). Sub250g is subject to the “don’t be an idiot” rule and means don’t be a danger to people or property and fly safe :) Just thought I’d mention as you were chasing the white truck! I wouldn’t “buzz the tower” Maverick style but with this tiny little quad, you could fly over if it’s safe to do so.
Don't be silly these are not 1999 pieces of tech. F4 flight controllers are made today (size/cost) and they are not like your grandma's F4 flight controllers.
