Yerevan is really safe and beautiful
Armenia is one of the safest countries in the world. There would be no problem hiring a car to take you sight seeing (or even booking a guided tour). The historical sight to Mt Ararat is the monetary of Khor Virap. It is where St. Gergory the Illuminator was imprisoned by the pagan King Tiridates. When the King fell ill, St. Gregory cure him, so the King freed St. Gregory and converted Armenia to Christianity - becoming the first Christian nation.

definitely, it was my mistake not knowing that back in march haha ! im moving to italy now, and in this country if you’re a foreigner, then you MUST keep your things close to you 😅

oh it was great! the locals are so nice, there are plenty of places to eat and walk around, you don’t even need to take any public transport for moving around Yerevan!

Yerevan is so Soviet I love it 😭🤣 the most Soviet experience you’ll get out of any ex USSR countries , except maybe Russia itself
