Boonah, Gateway to the Scenic Rim, Sth East Queensland

This week we made our way from Warwick to Boonah and stayed a little longer than we expected! We had some mechanical issues with the truck and due to Covid lockdowns in Brisbane, the Gold Coast triathlon was postponed! Safe to say we didn't get to the Gold Coast! We made the most of our extended stay by exploring this lovely town. We want to thank Boonah Automatics and Mechanical and the Boonah Showground for their help and hospitality. Until next time...

Love Boonah. But thats a "false green". Enough rain to keep the grass and shrubs green but thats it. Its still very dry out here and as of current 17/3/21 the dam feeding Boonah "Moogerah dam" is sitting at 12.5%. But cool vid.

Thanks, I guess we were lucky when we were there, definitely not drought breaking, the greenest place we have seen in a very long time though.

I've just come across your video & have to (sorry) correct you, 3 years late, but Boonah is in the Fassifern Valley, not the Lockyer.

I enjoyed your little video on Boonah. I live in Caldwell Neilsen's house. It is across from the lookout. His name was on the plaque up at the Boonah Lookout.
