Comprei a onix 8 é muito melhor que a 7 estava em dúvida, vi um video da 7 e da 8 e me decidi pela Harman Kardon 8, quem comprar nao ira se arrepender
Do the 8 and the 7 have audio lag when watching a video? Cuz they seem to be different bluetooth version. I’m wondering which one to choose.

Why do you play only at 90% volume? This is mainly a studio/indoor speaker. Not a party speaker. So it is more sensible if you play music at different volume levels, especially below 50%. Do you know that compact speakers sounds in full depth only at medium and low volume levels. There is a huge percentage of people who like to hear music at medium and low volume levels.
Harman is not a loud type of speaker, because i am playing the Onyx Studio 8 in an open space where walls and ceilings are far, playing at low volume might not sound good when u watch the video, playing at a certain volume is not always a form of standards in my videos.. some of it just to show viewers for information purpose only. Have you tried connecting to the HK Connect+ app?
How does it calibrate to the enviroment? And does it sound better than the go+play?
Calibration is automatic if you change position or location for optimum sound. But still, not better than goplay mini

There is a very slight sound difference on these two. For a small price difference i'd go for the 8

I think that the onyx 8's sound is richer and fuller compared to the old goplay ( with ipod dock )

Outdoor use I would recommend the tribit but the sound and power of bass in the OS8 is just wow, but it has no water resistent and the battery is only 8 hrs

Sounds hk quality great sound, 100% 👍 but you have to compare it to the onyx 7 to be fixed 110%! And maybe with the bb3 too even though I know the bb3 is superior!! 🤷🏽♂️

I imagine it has to do with increased distortion at higher volumes. Could be wrong though.
