I have a Tracer 9 GT same generation and I absolutely love the sound of it. It is actually the ONLY bike that I have not changed and do not plan to change the original exhaust. It just sounds perfect and it's clean as nothing sticks out on the bike. Great riding!

This bike doesn't need a full exhaust to sound good, IMO. I suppose that's more appropriate for your MT09 than it would be during long trips on my Tracer 9GT. I love the what Yamaha has done with the intake growl though, I don't want to drown that out with a loud pipe.
Tbh since the recorder is in the backpack you can't hear the sound of the intake growl since is ahead, but you can still hear it(in real). Ofc with a louder pipe, your attention is more on the pipe sound over the intake growl. One day I had to try a Tracer 9! Thank you for your comment Ernie, hope you enjoyed the video.

I kinda think this intake grow talk is a consolation prize for a shit stock exhaust that not up to finished standards on new bikes. I am going to turn the stock exhaust into a belly pot cooker. You get more crackles with the fire.😅😅😂

Same here, I was drawn to the new XSR900, which has the same CP3 engine, but I ended up riding home my 2023 Z900RS Cafe last week. No regrets. I still want to ride either an FZ 09 / MT 09 or an XSR900 to try out the CP3 though. These things have quite the cult following
If you like this sound , have a listen to a triumph 765 with Spark full system , dynavolt / triumph race team have a couple of videos . I get to listen to my 765 moto2 with full Spark exhaust when I ride …..loud and sweet.
Rode one for a day a couple of months ago. It had exhaust and tune on it. Was absolutely, without a doubt, one of the best sounding bikes I've ever rode. Not only that though, one of the most comfortable. Honestly, it's pretty much a perfect bike......except for the fact that it is UGLY AF! Going to get a MVA Dragster instead, and hopefully that will top the MT09. :)

Hey mate, this exhaust is completely legal euro 5, so Db and cat are in(all the latest video are with cat and db in, except one, without dbk). Glad you like it!✌
question: does your clutch levers enable the cruise control for you? After I change the clutch lever to the aftermarket one, I can't use that function and have to go back to the OEM

The gen3 has such a smooth quickshifter, sounds seamless. I prefer the jagged abrupt violent sound the gen1 and gen2 had.

I had the same problem on my tracer 900 gt. I got the gilles tooling levers and they work like oem
Cruise control works properly with this levers. Lucky me😅

Suspension are the big upgrade, in a bike like this, if you want to ride trusting your bike, the SP version makes a huge difference.✌️
