This is a quackery practice and can be dangerous. A model went to get her neck 'adjusted' and her main artery was shredded, ultimately causing her death. The guy that created this 'practice' claimed that he could cure the person's blindness or deafness, I can't remember which. And they also do this to newborn babies, some anti-vaxxers use this to keep the babies immune system up, which is dangerous in it's self. Also, the United States is the only country that really uses this. Other countries deems this a dangerous practice. We have 75,000.
Chiropractors are not medical doctors, you can get a PhD in it but it is not a medical science if it was regular MD doctors would use it same goes for all quack medical crap if science supported it they would do it.
As a physiotherapist I can tell you that myself and my chiropractor colleagues are legally OBLIGATED to stop if at ANY point a patient EVER says they are uncomfortable, they want to stop, they are scared, or they don’t want to engage in anything or anything that makes you believe the patient may not wish to continue... this woman said that Atleast twice and he ignored her. He can lose his license over that... very sketchy.
Physiotherapist is a legally protected title, chiropractor is not. You are either a physiotherapist or a chiropractor. It is a bit like being a dentist or a toothiologist. One is a licensed proffession while the other is quackery. Either you are a chiropractor who calls himself a physiotherapist which is illegal. Just like calling yourself a doctor or a policeman is illegal when you're not. OR Your "colleagues" are not your colleagues but rather pseudo-science pariahs, which have fooled you into believeing they are your colleagues.
@@SecretLars Actually, while there is no science that chiropractic adjustments can restore or improve health, it has been proven to relieve bone pressure and other musculoskeletal symptoms. So yeah, chiropractors aren't frauds, since most don't claim that they can make your health better, just that they can relieve pain, which science does prove they can.
Yes! I've heard of people getting their normal stuff done and getting diagnosed with blood clots or having strokes from their blood not being able to get to their brain afterwards.
He's not even telling her to breath in and out. Someone check this man's license fr cause that did not look pleasant. It looked like she was genuinely in pain
I had that leg pulling thing done to me by a physical therapist and it was COMPLETELY different. Her foot was at a weird angle and you have to cough during it. He didn’t prep her at all (or check if she NEEDED it - I’m horrified!
Yeah, and i call complete BULLSHIT on his cheekbone adjustment, the cheekbone is literally part of the skull, there is no joint there! Wtf is wrong with this dude
To be perfectly clear....and even corroborated by another person in this comment thread. Any chiropractor is legally obliged to STOP for ANY reason the patient or practitioner them selves may want to or believe that the session needs to be halted. This guy ignored her requests at least 3 times throughout this video. He's exactly the type of chiropractor that gives the rest of them a bad name.
@@leor8981 isn't that true for basically any physician, doctor whatever licenced thing that does things to your body? Also is why I tend to feel more comfortable working with women in these positions, it's far more rare I feel like I'm being treated like a sack of meat and bones and not being listened to with women, and I feel a lot more comfortable to just get up and leave if I feel I'm not being listened to.
Im a nursing student and part of the things we learn is about the patient bill of rights. One of which include a patient’s autonomy. Meaning they can choose whether or not they want a treatment at any time. The chiro should have stopped the moment she said she didnt want to anymore
@@indigotrails353 there is no "safe word" when it comes to any medical professional. The "safe word" is no, don't, stop or I don't want to. This man definitely took things way too far and cares more about his video than he does the person he's supposed to be helping
As someone who's only had one chiropractic experience, which was horrible and caused my back to be worse than before, even the chiropractor I went to wasn't this forceful. This guy needs to have his license revoked if he hasn't already
They’re not medical professionals or doctors nor are they legally allowed to call themselves that. They have been shown to do more harm than good, and well over half of their victims suffer adverse effects. They lose every single court case about this. Legally they are in the same category as crystal healers and essential oil healers. Aka pseudoscience
Her giddiness at the end was adrenaline. He hurt her so bad, the adrenaline rush made her high, and she will definitely hurt later. The same thing happened to me when i tore muscles and tendons in a serious fall.
Thats what I thought! When you go through pain like that plus the anxiety and fear... there's a rush after. Im sure habing residual pain is "all part of the process" and "you have to come back regularly to see the real difference" 😐
Was thinking the same thing, had a bunch of accidents getting horses on top of me, ripping up muscles and tendons, HUGE adrenaline rush afterwards not feeling any pain, and short time later i couldnt Even move. This video left me with a serious bad feeling
This exactly! I shattered the bone in my wrist a while back and my mom didn’t believe that it was broken because I wasn’t crying. But when she felt my wrist was literal jello... we went to the hospital! I had no idea until the pain hit about 15 mins later how bad I hurt it!
At first, I was like, Okay, "ouch outch ouch" is different than stop.... but then I was like, She CLEARLY said "I don't wanna do any more" and he continued! NAW! Time to go. Take your hands off me, and let me outta here. AND, I'm keeping my copay.... Girl, you gotta be your own advocate, b/c the other people in the room are not there for you. Learned that the hard way myself.
As a nurse, everything that happened in this video is grounds for medical mistakes and he should have been sued. Patients have every right to consent to their appointment procedures and immediately revoke it once their confidentiality/comfort has been breeched. We can't even take vitals if the patient refuses. It's not ok to just assume you have full control over what should and shouldn't be done. It is their body and they have full autonomy over it unless they have signed it over to the medical staff so they can have proper care for their injuries/health issues.
"Mistakes"? No, none of it was a "mistake," he did it all with full intention and ignoring her wish to stop/discontinue at several points. It's **malpractice** and, frankly, **assault.** He should be prosecuted for both...
@123 123 "If a healthcare worker does not get a patient's informed consent, and the patient would not have opted for the treatment if he or she knew about the risks, the patient may be able to sue them for medical malpractice."
As someone who’s 30 years old and has been going to chiropractors my whole life, I would NEVER let this guy touch me. He will clearly create more damage than healing and has created a horrific image of chiropractors everywhere now. Disgusting- really.
Well, its guys like this that show the world just how quack Chiropractors are. Any help or harm is purely incidental and even more dangerous than chi healing.
The things he does arent the problem, its just that he does it just like that, sprinting in. My Chiropractor always takes a few seconds to double and triple check he does it right.
I went to a chiropractor who NEVER did anything close to this. He fixed the problem, I’ve never had the pain again and it’s been a decade. His adjustments were slight and used minimal pressure. If I’d gone to this guy, the minute he mentioned yoga pants I’d have jumped out the window to get away
I mean my chiropractor is pretty forceful. But, its because hes assessed me and knows what it takes to adjusts me. He'll adjust my neck the type something into his computer lol. Like hes recording every single crack. He also mostly focuses on the exact problem I come in with. This guys kind of weird. Doesnt even tell her to breath out lol
Backpain is so painfull my lower back is,thought of going aswel but after this video i pass. My brother may do it by lifting me or standing without shoes on my back
@horn Not pseudo science. My chiropractor had a DC from an accredited institution from the same organization that accredits MDs. Don’t know what the yahoo in this video has besides the creep factor. I am going to rehab therapy though because I have a healthy skepticism of anyone “cracking” anything. Got lucky with my previous DC.
Exactly. He cares only about his TH-cam “career”. That’s evident by the plaque too. It’s okay to he proud of your success, but he’s supposed to be a “medical” professional. It just seems like that type of thing should be displayed outside of a patient room, like in his office or even the waiting room. That’s my opinion though. I’m sure others will disagree.
This patient came back for a second visit after this. It's on the actual channel. This here is a comedy video. Do you think these two would be laughing thru the whole video if someone was really being tortured?
@@DGREENE39 She asked for him to stop the first time, and looked like she was fearing for her life before the last exercise. Why would she return again? I know this channel is a comedy video as I've seen him on PewDiPie's channel. Which video did she return again on? I need to see that.
Absolutely. For starters, his “bedside manner” could be greatly improved by him removing all his sexually inappropriate jokes! Secondly, even if she had signed a form before the procedure saying that even if she’s crying or says, “no”, she wishes for the chiropractor to continue... you can CLEARLY see that this woman needs at least a couple of breaks during this session - as much time as she needs where she’s not in excruciating pain and is able to breathe and “re-group” herself before he continues (if that makes sense?)
@@a.7889-v8f Taking breaks in the middle of a session allows for stress to build up when you need to be completely relaxed for any of this to be done without pain. Clearly she was stressed out already, but if he gave her a break and she started to stress more it could have ended worse. The more tense your muscles the worse it will be, that's just a fact. Imagine playing a sport and not stretching before hand, you're going to tear something. It's the same concept, there's pressure being put on your bones and muscles. Second, if you're a patient and don't like the jokes then say something about it, if you don't say anything and just laugh it off then you're basically giving him permission to make the jokes. I agree he should have been a little more patient, but giving a whole break? nah. Ken and Buff didn't even watch the entire video, just the entertaining parts to it. She comes back later and talks about how the whole procedure made her feel better, so most people in this comment section jumping to conclusions are just idiotic. Blame Ken for not watching that part or blame the Editor for leaving it out. Cracking jokes is fun and all, but some of the people in this comment section want to straight up cancel this guy because they didn't have full context lmao.
When your body has been in the wrong position for twenty years, readjusting to the proper position is going to hurt and be sore. Years of scar tissue don't just go away. And if he had stopped the whole session, he would need to redo a lot of the adjustments later. The body will fight for equallibrium and that takes time. You don't want the body to undo the corrections.
I read a story about a woman that got paralyzed from the waist down after an adjustment. I think she was able to use her legs again after a trip to the hospital and a week or two of rest, but that shit must've been traumatizing.
Stop going to chiropractors. This psychotic shit they do is fake science. Youre getting relief from physical therapy techniques they also use. Go to a physio
My daughter was born with very tight muscles and connective tissues. She ended up with torticolis, and i barely ever had her on the back of her head. She couldn't turn her neck to one side and her body was extra tight on the one side and was crooked. She had physical therapy for 10 months. Someone recommended a baby chiropractor. I said noooooooooo thanks. She's 3 now and doing very well.
I believe Chiropractors have to stop if the patient says that they don't want to continue. Patients have consent to continue or stop. I mean that is what I heard by a few Chiropractors. Yet this guy continued even when the patient is in tears. I believe she is scared to even say no. But he at least should of asked if she is ok though.
Problem is that if a doctor does not get consent, they can't practice medicine and will go to jail if they do. There's no required qualifications legally to be a chiropractor.
@@charlotteboy6783 In the United States to become chiropractors there is four national board exams and a state exam to be licensed chiropractor. He needed to stop when she requested to stop.

Omg you're right.. she probably felt like if she said no that he'd force her into more of that! Since he hadn't listened to her at all do far :( Pressure from the camera too... probably felt awkward paying who knows how much/friend recommended/being filmed... I'd pretend to be okay too 😅
she probably felt a ton better after. i always feel so much better after an adjustment.. now i have never had an adjustment like that before but there have definitely been some uncomfortable and extremely painful things done to me. you always feel so much better after though.
Sometimes those adjustments have to be seen thru. I've seen a few where the people have panic attacks but the chiropractor continues. Emotional release relatively common in adjustments. He is probably use to people panicking and knows to stay calm and finish up quickly. Every one I know that has seen a chiropractor says it is life changing and they have gotten rid of pain they've had for years, and with some, decades.

Went to a chiropractor in high school after a softball injury. It was NOTHING like this. Went to a chiropractor with neck pain when I was ten. Didn’t know what he was treating. Came out with a dislocated neck. Spent two months in hospital laying on my back in traction and was eventually fitted with a halo brace which I wore for six months. Yeah I would never recommend anyone ever go to one of these guys, ESPECIALLY children.
Not all chiropractors are like this, my mom goes to a female physical therapist that does massage and readjustment of limbs, like uneven legs, and she was very pleasant. Just make sure you do your research.
Not all chiropractors are horrible, I've been to a horrible one and then I currently go to two different ones who run their business together started by her dad, they're amazing and actually care about the people they take care of

Me at the start of the video: my back constantly hurts, maybe I should go to a chiropractor Me at the end of the video: MY BACK IS FINE NO PAIN WHATSOEVER
I was forced to go to an aggressive "chiro" like this. She made me so uncomfortable and caused me so much pain. It was traumatizing. When my sister-in-law told her chiro about it, he was absolutely shocked and appalled. Normal chiros that actually know that they are doing and are licensed don't do that type of shit.
That's why I like the sort of chiro like rahim/rob/another one I can't remember the name of, who doesn't do some of what he does and does what is needed rather than just everything.
He was a little weird and forceful with his patient. My chiropractor does like half of these moves maybe and they can be really painful if your muscles are stiff and not stretched out. That's why they should do a little bit of a massage first. The neck twist one is the worst. You will naturally tense up and be in pain after if the chiro doesn't distract you. Mine always taps fast on the side of my neck to get me to focus on that instead.
Agreed. My original chiro didn't loosen my muscles much and I left one day in so much pain. Now I'm going to another chiro to help with what my original chiro did and I've has to go 3x now but I already can see a huge difference
@@mandala314 The tables that make that sound are drop tables. When the chiro put pressure on your back the table drops down to accommodate some of the pressure. It makes the adjustment less painful generally.

I've never had to say "ow" or "stop it hurts" to my chiropractors. They are amazing. My back was super messed up & in just 3 months it was almost completely straight.
100% agree. I bodybuild and have to see a chiropractor every week. I mean id say 50% of what he does doesnt really hurt. But the other 50% can be pretty painful because hes adjusting something thats...painful to begin with lol. But, once hes done it literally never continues to hurt or have i ever thought he damaged something. Hes done the neck pull and everything. It was not the most pleasant experience but, theres going to be some discomfort doing that. He improved my training and quality of life dramatically.

I went to a “neurochiropractor” if that truly exists, due to chronic migraines, and he literally held up little glass tubes to different parts of my body and then “diagnosed” me with things like milk allergy, adrenal fatigue, etc. and told me that my hiatal hernia that was surgically repaired was not fixed. If it wasn’t I’d have bad reflux still. His wife, the receptionist, then charged me $200 after having told me that the average cost of a visit was $20, and when I said something i was told that they don’t cover the first appointment. They didn’t bother telling me that beforehand. Be careful who you go to!
I watched one where he literally takes a massager to a guys HERNIATED DISC. He was screaming in pain and he wouldn't stop... he should be sued and fired.
My chiropractor told me himself that he hates these types of chiropractors that break your neck to get pops out. I would never go back to one of these.
Here in the U.K. there was a famous court case some years ago between a science writer who wrote about chiropractic being pseudoscience and dangerous, and the British Chiropractic Association or society or whatever, who took him to court for libel against their profession. I think it went to the high court. When the judge looked at the evidence the chiropractors lost. Edit: the writer’s name is Simon Singh.

Go to a physio......They can actually help and they won't end up making injuries worse. Also, the "adjustments," chiropractors do are just pure snake oil. As soon as you stand up and walk away, your spine etc will always go right back to how it was, because of gravity. The exercises physios do with you, are not a quick fix, but you 100% see results if you stick with it and the results will also last if you keep up with the exercises they give you.

It can actually do more than muscle damage. Done improperly, neck adjustments like that can, in rare cases, cause artery damage. There was a celebrity who died from it back in 2016. A model I think.
I’ve never once been in that much pain going to a chiropractor. The most pain I got was when I had my ankle popped back in place, but that’s reasonable and I didn’t cry from it. What he is doing is super dangerous and I can’t understand how he still has a license

I had chronic headaches and migraines starting at age 10. By age 11, I pretty much had a headache to some degree 24/7. My parents just thought I was being difficult and didn’t believe I hurt that much. I finally went to a chiropractor at 19. After about 4 visits, I woke up one morning I just felt off. I couldn’t explain what it was and after my mom talked about it, I figured out that I didn’t have a headache. I’d been in pain for so long I had no idea what it was to not have a headache. I’ve been many times since for different issues. I’m a firm believer in chiropractic, I’d recommend going at least once to see what they might be able to for you.
I’m no chiropractor but I’ve been to several appointments and I believe the normal procedures are to make normally one large or a very FEW smaller adjustments at a time so your body can properly adjust after words. Where I go they tell you everything they’re going to do and ask if you’re ready and ask how you’re doing. After the adjustments you go to a different room and they use some sort of muscle stims or something like that and you lay on a rolling massage bed for a few minutes and it helps the muscles and adjustments settle. If your chiropractor acts like this pretty sure I can say that is 100% NOT NORMAL. If something hurts they need to stop you’re paying for a service and when you want that to end you should be able to.
Especially during a neck adjustment, literally the most sensitive part of the body! I half want his license taken and half wanting him to be sued into the ground.
A real medical professional wouldn’t continue if their client said, “I don’t want to continue anymore.” But what do I know, I’m only a therapist. 🤷🏻♂️
That just confirms my decision never to go to a chiropractor again. I went to a chiropractor because I hurt my back. I had herniated a disc and didn't know it. He went to adjust my low back and it wouldn't adjust and he went in to do it again and I screamed and my legs flew up in the air. I could barely walk out of the place. I went to a doctor and after an MRI the chiro had broken a disc off and it was floating in my spine. 2 years of hell I went through before I agreed to surgery. I will never see a chiropractor again. Great Video!!
I am so sorry that happened. A real professional would do x-rays and even ask for scans to be transferred by your doctor during a consultation before even making an appointment for a session.
I mean hind sight is 20/20 but you should always seek medical help before going to a chiropractor. They are typically last resort and yes do help, but seek other means of healing first

Then he found out the chiropractor was wrong and he actually had an autoimmune disorder called ankylosing spondylitis. The chiropractor caused so much scar tissue to build up, he could no longer turn his head. Permanently.

The guy that created this 'practice' claimed that he could cure the person's blindness or deafness, I can't remember which. And they also do this to newborn babies, some anti-vaxxers use this to keep the babies immune system up, which is dangerous in it's self.

Second, if you're a patient and don't like the jokes then say something about it, if you don't say anything and just laugh it off then you're basically giving him permission to make the jokes. I agree he should have been a little more patient, but giving a whole break? nah.

When your body has been in the wrong position for twenty years, readjusting to the proper position is going to hurt and be sore. Years of scar tissue don't just go away. And if he had stopped the whole session, he would need to redo a lot of the adjustments later. The body will fight for equallibrium and that takes time. Less about the profession and more about the therapist competence. But I won't bet before massage and other less traumatic modalities
The rolling bed is the besttttt
That sucks because when someone says no stop you HAVE TO STOP!!! And that’s upsetting that he didn’t stop.
