I got to meet Kyle yesterday. He gave me a tour of his hanger and he was working on Dracula! I hope to see him fly it this Saturday!

Some real tragedy in this family. Kyle's father did airshow aerobatics for 38 years, until killed in airshow crash, midair with another plane in the act, flown by his father in-law, who also died.... Kyle and his wing walking wife Amanda later crashed in an airshow accident (engine failure). Amanda survived, but she died soon after, due to injuries and burns. Kyle survived, glad to see he is still flying...

gmcjetpilot Indeed! Had the pleasure of meeting and talking to them for a bit after the Cleveland Air Show a few years back. She lost her dad, Bobby Younkin, in the same crash that claimed Jimmy Franklin. For Kyle to dust off his dad's spare and go back up showed his dedication to the business. That he could build another plane and keep performing after losing Amanda is a true testament to what this means to him.

I got to see Kyle perform with Amanda. They had like a pirate sketch it was cool. Also ssw Kyle with dracula. That show I think Matt Younkin was there. This was the Amigo Airsho here in El Paso texas which is no longer in existance. God I miss those days. It sucks how ill never see this again...or for maybe a long, long time

I'd love to see the Mystery Ship again! He was talking about putting it back together for shows. Hopefully, minus the jet. The best shows I have ever seen were Jimmy before they added the jet to the WACO. That was one amazing airshow pilot! Always will me my favorite!
