Hello! My daughter has a bone spur in her foot for 20 years. She was planning surgery. Within 3 nights of applying castor oil she has nopain. She will continue to use it for at least 3 months, to dissolve the spur. It heals plantar fasciatis also. I am using it on a cyst under my arm, and it has shrunk immensely. Such an amazing oil. It penetrates deeper than any oil. As you said it must be Organic, Cold Pressed, Hexane Free, in a dark, glass bottle. Sending love from England. 💕
Really enjoyed your video, & your skin looks beautiful! I have been using castor oil on my face too for a month or so, twice a day, and think it is slowly improving the texture of my 81 year old face. So glad to see others using it with good results. I also put it on my feet at night with socks over it and I almost think it is gradually helping the neuropathy in my toes. Thank you, God, for castor oil!
I think I remember reading a long time ago, that Doris Day always used castor oil on her face. Didn't she always look fabulous! Thank you Margaret for reminding me. 👍❤️
I have started using castor oil recently and have been very impressed so far. The one use I can swear by is a few drops in my belly button at night to help my constipation. In the morning I have a very normal bowel movement and I know it has to be the castor oil. I have never been able to use the bathroom so easily. I used it last night for the first time as my first cleanse. I thought about mixing it with a cleansing balm but I changed my mind and only used the castor oil and it worked perfectly. I had a full face of makeup and it removed all of it. So far I am so pleased.

thank you for your take on casteroil. I am sick of seeing young girls saying that it helps with wrinkles, when you get older and wiser then you can talk about mature skin care. i am going to try it.
I agree with you Margaret, you don't need anything else. I mix a couple of drops of castor oil in my hands with a dab of moisturiser before putting it on my face. On the days when I'm not using the moisturiser, I mix 6 drop EV olive oil and 2 drops of castor oil OR melt some coconut oil in my hands and add a couple of drops of castor oil. They all work beautifully and give my skin a lovely sheen.
Yes, I think adding a moisturizer or a less thick facial serum is the best way to use castor oil. That’s at least when I have found and it sounds like you have to.
Great video! I use Jamician Black Castor Oil on my face, specifically on my eyebrows, and it makes them grow fast and stay dark. At 67, I barely need eyebrow pencils!
I had very painful plantars fasciitis in my right foot. It was so painful I could barely walk. I tried everything to eliminate the pain. Watching FB reels I happened upon castor oil so I tried it on my foot and it eliminated my pain. I'm grateful to be able to walk without pain again.
I use it on my whole body…I mix it with coconut oil for my body and I mix it with black seed oil for my face. I use it on my face twice a day. I also do an overnight oil treatment on my hair once a week…I mix it with jojoba oil and lavender EO. I have been doing this for a few months…the best thing I have ever used for my skin and hair!
I have dry eyes and wow castor oil has made a huge difference. I have seen a big difference in brows lashes and moisture. My new thing is using it on cellulite on legs and wiggly arms. No change yet but I'm hopeful. I mix it with coconut oil as a body moisturizer. Love it❤
Hi Margaret, very interesting vlog. Thank you. Last year I was in the Rain Forest and was lucky enough to be talking to a plant expert. She told me the locals rarely went to doctors as they treated themselves with natural products. She mentioned the benefits of Castor Oil (which are extensive). I use it primarily as skin care, mixing it with a little Almond Oil. Love the idea of having Turmeric in there too. x
I just bought the black caster oil a few weeks ago and I prefer this now to the normal caster oil. I use it on my eye lashes and it makes it nice and long. I don't use mascara since my lashes breaks off when I use it. I also use it on my skin in the evening ( will try it now in the morning as well) and on my tummy and I can swear it helps me to sleep better. I struggle to sleep and to stay asleep but when I use the caster oil I get back to sleep quicker.
I use it every night before I go to bed…on my face and it hasn’t stained my clothes or bedding. I use it after I get out of the shower and it’s great. I love it!
I haven't used castor oil lately but am thinking about using it again. Many, many years ago I had a cyst on my eyelid. So I rubbed a little bit of castor oil on it a couple of times a day and it was gone in no time.
Thank you Margaret. I love your messages…. Yes I’m also using caster oil as if one month ago and it’s great. I add a few drops to my nightly face cream and am also using it in the morning under my make up. My daughter commented on my glowing skin😊 which she feels makes me look younger than my 73 years!❤❤
I have fat deposits under my eyes and I smear castor oil on them and they go away. To remove raised moles/skin tags make A paste of one part castor oil to one part baking soda, mix well and apply at night and cover with bandaid. Do this every night until you see the area dry up and flake off. Keep applying until it all flakes off.
I have been looking for someone with this comment everywhere! I have them on my eyes too and with my insurance i can't see a dermatologist to have them removed. Thank you soo much tor sharing
I had an acrtinic keratosis on my face, itchy, red swollen, and was told I had to do a chemical peel (very expensive) I used Castor oil and it healed on it's own.I used it to diminish other facial spots, but they did not disappear. On my knuckles that hurt from arthritis, I rub in Castor oil, and they feel much better. It also seems to have helped a deep new scar from a chest biopsy to become less obvious .For sure it does a great job on your feet, but maybe any oil would do that :)
Castor oil is great. I started using it on my body 5 years ago. I mix organic castor oil with almond oil. Then I add ginger essential oil to reduce inflammation and lemon essential oil for a light fragrance. I use straight castor oil with a spoolie brush on my eyelashes and eyebrows. The castor oil seems to help with hair health. After your video I will be trying castor oil on my face. Thank you for the suggestion. 😊

Thanks for the tip. I will be trying this at least for night use. I'm a big fan of argan oil for hair, have used it on and off for close to 20 years, it doesn't weigh down or make hair oily either. It's become an essential since I've become more salt than pepper!
I've been using castor oil for about 4 months and I see a difference in the softness of my face. I love that it is affordable, clean and it is something I will use in lieu of the more expensive products I previously used that honestly did nothing for my skin. You look beautiful and I hope you are feeling well.
I do half and half. Works great! You can also put a little Argon oil in your palm, rub your hands together and lightly run through your hair for conditioner and frizziness. Enjoy!
I’ve been using castor oil for about 6 months On my face , eyes and eyebrows .. eyebrows and eyelashes are growing and my skin is tightening up , no blemishes and I get compliments all the time about my skin 😊
I use it all over, straight. It mixes well with other oils but I want it to absorb. It goes into my skin quickly and is very soothing. Love it on my feet, face, arm, hair - it stops the itching scalp. I have a bottle at my dresser, bathroom, beside my computer and in my purse! Wonderful product. I want to try the Jamaican version next!
Hi, Margaret, it's so good to see you feeling well ! Yes, I've used castor oil. Many years ago, I had pain in my abdomen. I applied a castor oil pack & the pain went away, never to return. I use castor oil packs to various areas of my body every so often. Castor oil goes deeper into the skin than any other oil. When I have used it, I've never combined it w/any other oil. My skin never absorbs it. I think I need to combine it w/another oil. I'll try that !
Thank you Margaret for a wonderful video. Who knew that a product I dreaded as a child could be so beneficial as an adult for my skin. I appreciate you so much and your willingness to share your knowledge. I am from Florida and it is very hot and humid here mostly all year round so I'm not fond of anything heavy on my face but I will be turning 70 soon and my skin is now really dry. I look forward to trying this product. And once again you look lovely and put together as always 🦢
You must have been reading my mind! I've been using on my feet but have been toying with the idea of mixing with my facial oil, so I think I might just give it a go now! Thank you as always! 😘
Hi Margaret, I'm so happy to see you glowing and looking so well! I do use organic, hexane free castor oil on my face at night. It has only been a couple of weeks, so I haven't noticed any changes yet. I enjoyed your podcast. Thanks!
Thanks for another informative video. The first link is to the German Amazon site, and I have used that oil before, though not consistantly. A very good oil. Mi grandfather was prescribed castor oil for trigeminal neuralgia (an extremely painful facial nerve condition) in the early 1930's and it stopped the pain.
How did he use it for trigeminal neuralgia? I’ve had that debilitating condition and had to have surgery for it. I’m curious in what way he used it, topical, oral, ? And how often. The MVD surgery I got they say doesn’t last forever.
My husband has trigeminal neuralgia. He has been using a new cream prescribed by dr that is a ketamin compound. Hes been pain free since he started applying it. It was a blessing!
I love your channel. Thank you for all the wonderful and loving advice you give. I use castor oil on my eye lashes for conditioning and strength. It can be applied with a disposable mascara brush before bedtime or even as a base under mascara:)
Good Saturday 🎉 morning , Margaret . My Parent's , use too give us that to take by mouth to keep us healthy they said, we would line up and have to take that every morning😂and I did not like the taste , but they were convinced to kept you healthy and now I believe it to be ❤so.
Hi Margaret. I use castor oil for floater and dry eye. I put a little on each eye lid every night and no more floaters and really dry eye any more. I have gum disease and I'm trying it out on my gums every night and see if any improvement in 3 months time when l see my periodontist. Rings cross for me. ❤
Greetings Margaret! I use it around my eyes, but I need to try it on my abdomen for healing. Thank you for sharing your experience! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
I just started using castor oil so I’m looking forward to seeing results!! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this product!! Love your videos so much!!!🤗❤️
You seem to be feeling better❤️ I rub castor oil on my knees at bedtime to help with soreness . It seems to help . I also rub on any dry patches on legs and tops of my hands . I use other products for my face but I might try it on eyebrows .
I have not watched your videos in a while - and - I really notice the improvement in the clarity and radiance of your siskin. If this is Castor Oil, I'm getting it!!!!!
I honestly love it too. My skin is quite dry and this makes all the difference. For me it’s not really either. It’s really perfect. Thank you for your kind comment.
Thanks to you, I remembered I had a bottle of carrot oil that I didn’t even open yet. Bed time now so I use it for the first time and I like the texture of it, not too thick, and it gives an immediate healthy glow effect… I shall use it tegularly now and see how my skin reacts, even if it is carrot and not castor oil… my skin feels so soft 👍 Thank you again 😘
just found you and am so grateful! i have been using Castor oil for only a few weeks now and for my body i use a 50/50 blend or castor and jojoba oil. i would love to know what ratio you blend for your elixir? btw the sandalwood product seems to be discontinued. in evenings i put the CO neet under and above eyes, on my lips, and some moles, and then in a CO pack over my liver area. still too soon to tell about results, but i love this oil and it has greatly improved my dry skin! i have dark circles and puffy bags under eyes, am 67.
I used it on my face & found it horrible for my skin. Only used it for a week bc not only did it do nothing for my skin but it made my lips peel. I went back to my usual moisturiser. Maybe mixing with another oil would work but I don't know if I could be bothered. My skin had the exact same response to Retinol as to Castor oil. I guess nothing works for everyone but for me it was a waste of $25.🥰
Hi Libby. It says you say skin care products of all kinds are not for everyone. I’m very surprised that you had that response but there’s clearly some allergic reaction to castor oil you have. I’m glad you have other alternatives. Thank you so much for sharing.
It helped me with my hair. It was falling out a lot. After 3 months the of daily use, my hair stopped falling out and it is thicker. I mix it with coconut oil and use it on my face at night too.
For my scalp I use 1/4 teaspoon of coconut oil and 6 drops of castor oil. Since I work from home four days a week, I do not mind dealing with the oily look. I do not use the oils when I go into the office.
It’s funny I was on the bus yesterday and there was this young woman with the most gorgeous hair down to her waist. Yes, she was in her 20s but she said to her friend every week she put Castro oil on her hair. And I smiled.
Olive oil is good too. Many years ago when I was going thru menopause my facial skin got very dry so I rubbed in a tiny bit and it really worked. It wasn't greasy as I used only a tiny amount.
I use castor oil as well i love bit i use it on my hair eyebrows lashes as an eye cream.on my neck lips its good for crapiness .i love it i love a good oil on my face. I have very dry skin
I use castor oil as a moisturizer, mainly on my face, and sometimes on parts of my body that are really dry, like my feet. Also, I use it on my arms and hands where I get "stress bumps", as my doctor calls them. Within 1-3 days, the bumps have disappeared.
❤ ❤ ❤ your skin looks soft and supple. I started last night with Castor oil. I am 76yrs young, and I am in a quandary over using Retinols. What do you think??? Blessings, Ann in Texas
i’ve never used retinol so I can’t comment, but I’ve heard that it needed really to be used over a period of time. I think the Castor oil works best for me.
I just bought Castor Oil because of this video. I will let you know how it works. I will also use it in my belly button because I have always had constipation and my doctors said I NEED TO CONTROL THIS.
Thank you fior the informative video. I have an ongoing problem with sore, stinging eyes. I dab Castor oil around my eyes - on the lid & under my eyes - every night and in the morning the soreness has gone & the oil is absorbed. I think the soreness is a reaction to eye make- ups. I will now try using it more generally, as you suggest. You have beautiful eyes, and your "smokey" eye make-up looks fantastic.
I haven't used it yet but I've been using sweet almond oil for a number of years. I use it as a facial oil & also moisturize my body after a shower. I think I will try the Castor oil though. Maybe a mix of both!
So interesting thank you for sharing . I use castor oil on my legs, particularly shins especially after a winter in leggings and jeans. Seems to help the look of any broken veins and just improves skin appearance and colour in general. I pat it all over at night before PJ's go on and the skin effects last all next day.
Your calm personality and blonde beauty remind me of the actress who played Dabney Coleman's wife in 9 to 5. She was fun to watch. Adorably zany and kind, she had to be to forgive him. I could be wrong but I think her name was Marian Mercer.
Karel here I read it can also lengthen eyelashes. I just started using it an love it also. Margaret you have lovely clear skin with good color. What is the name of that Polish line again. Can we get it online?
Make sure you use glass bottles for any oils, not plastic, as oils degrade plastics and absorb microplastics.

Margaret you make the best videos! I love learning from you, I'm giving castor oil a try 😀
Thanks so much
Hi Margaret. I use castor oil for floater and dry eye. I put a little on each eye lid every night and no more floaters and really dry eye any more. I have gum disease and I'm trying it out on my gums every night and see if any improvement in 3 months time when l see my periodontist. Rings cross for me. ❤
Hi Margaret your looks inspire me. At leat a mature person doing this!!! Thanks❤❤❤❤❤❤
Greetings Margaret! I use it around my eyes, but I need to try it on my abdomen for healing. Thank you for sharing your experience! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
Looking wonderful as always…thank you for sharing.
I just started using castor oil so I’m looking forward to seeing results!! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this product!! Love your videos so much!!!🤗❤️
Hi Margaret, I was wondering where you purchased your necklace? It is really beautiful!! Thanks!
I made it :-)
Glad to see you well Margaret 😊
You seem to be feeling better❤️ I rub castor oil on my knees at bedtime to help with soreness . It seems to help . I also rub on any dry patches on legs and tops of my hands . I use other products for my face but I might try it on eyebrows .
Thanks for the tip! I am feeling so much better. Thank you so much for your kindness.
Thank you sweet Margaret!
Watched you for a very long time. You’re wonderful!!
You are so welcome
I use it on my eyelashes and eyebrows, and it does help with growth.
I have never used it before, however now I’m going to try it. Thank you for your help.
You’re welcome 😊
just found you and am so grateful! i have been using Castor oil for only a few weeks now and for my body i use a 50/50 blend or castor and jojoba oil. i would love to know what ratio you blend for your elixir? btw the sandalwood product seems to be discontinued. in evenings i put the CO neet under and above eyes, on my lips, and some moles, and then in a CO pack over my liver area. still too soon to tell about results, but i love this oil and it has greatly improved my dry skin! i have dark circles and puffy bags under eyes, am 67.
Hi Margaret. You are looking great. I am watching from Israel.
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences.❤😊
I used it on my face & found it horrible for my skin. Only used it for a week bc not only did it do nothing for my skin but it made my lips peel. I went back to my usual moisturiser. Maybe mixing with another oil would work but I don't know if I could be bothered. My skin had the exact same response to Retinol as to Castor oil. I guess nothing works for everyone but for me it was a waste of $25.🥰
I know with retinol it takes time and yes you will peel in the first few months. But then you get used to it. That’s why it works for acne
Hi Libby. It says you say skin care products of all kinds are not for everyone. I’m very surprised that you had that response but there’s clearly some allergic reaction to castor oil you have. I’m glad you have other alternatives. Thank you so much for sharing.
I use organic caster oil. Thanks for sharing this Mgt .
Thanks for sharing
Good tips. Thank you….❤ your necklace.
Thanks so much for sharing
It helped me with my hair. It was falling out a lot. After 3 months the of daily use, my hair stopped falling out and it is thicker. I mix it with coconut oil and use it on my face at night too.
How much coconut oil do you use & how much castor oil do you use? Thanks for sharing your success!
I have used it on my feet for years!
I haven't tried castor oil, but use olive oil sometimes. Thanks, I will try it ❤
Hope you like it!
Olive oil is good too. Many years ago when I was going thru menopause my facial skin got very dry so I rubbed in a tiny bit and it really worked. It wasn't greasy as I used only a tiny amount.
Thanks for the tip - I will give it a try!
I use castor oil as well i love bit i use it on my hair eyebrows lashes as an eye cream.on my neck lips its good for crapiness .i love it i love a good oil on my face. I have very dry skin
Thanks for sharing!!
I use castor oil as a moisturizer, mainly on my face, and sometimes on parts of my body that are really dry, like my feet. Also, I use it on my arms and hands where I get "stress bumps", as my doctor calls them. Within 1-3 days, the bumps have disappeared.
Have just started it some days ago.
Greetings from Germany.
Hope that the experience is good for you too. I found it to be an amazing skin moisturizer, and primer for make up.
What a wonderful video, Margaret! And also great ideas from the 60 and Me community ❤ Thank you all. I can’t wait to try 🎉💕
You are so welcome!
My late Mom used castor oil on her face. She did not have wrinkles. I use it. Works great very cheap.
Great tip!
I recently heard a discussion that it helps lighten age spots or brown spots on the face.
Thank you. I have never used Castor oil - your skin looks lovely so it must work.
Yes it does! For me x
I just bought Castor Oil because of this video. I will let you know how it works. I will also use it in my
belly button because I have always had constipation and my doctors said I NEED TO CONTROL THIS.
Hi Nancy. I really hope that it works for you. Thank you for your kind words.
Thanks for sharing!!
It’s also good for lubricating industrial machinery.
I grow hair like wild man of Borneo, but I do smooth a little over my eyelids at bedtime because it is said to relieve cataracts.
I mix organic black Jamaican castor oil and olive oil mixed together on my face and body 🎉❤
Good morning from IOWA, USA
Back at ya, from Georgia!
And Michigan!
Hello from Atlanta! I just bought this castor oil and am looking forward to using it at night. ❤️
Hope you like it!
How in the world do you sleep with it on - protect bed linens?
Just washed the pillowcases every week :-)
I’ll try this!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Your skin really does look good !
I haven't used it yet but I've been using sweet almond oil for a number of years. I use it as a facial oil & also moisturize my body after a shower. I think I will try the Castor oil though. Maybe a mix of both!
Thanks for sharing!!
How are you feeling Margaret?
Hi there. I’ve been home now for a couple of weeks and I feel really good. Thank you for asking for your kindness.
So interesting thank you for sharing . I use castor oil on my legs, particularly shins especially after a winter in leggings and jeans. Seems to help the look of any broken veins and just improves skin appearance and colour in general. I pat it all over at night before PJ's go on and the skin effects last all next day.
Thanks for sharing!!
Your calm personality and blonde beauty remind me of the actress who played Dabney Coleman's wife in 9 to 5. She was fun to watch. Adorably zany and kind, she had to be to forgive him. I could be wrong but I think her name was Marian Mercer.
❤️
Karel here I read it can also lengthen eyelashes. I just started using it an love it also. Margaret you have lovely clear skin with good color. What is the name of that Polish line again. Can we get it online?
do you mean the facial serum or the castor oil?
I got a good organic castor oil from Swanson health but I meant the serum.
