Very enjoyable video. I visited bournton on the water the last week of August 2023. It was jammed packed with people. Could hardly notice the surroundings. Wish it could have been as peaceful as it was in your video. Will return one day at a different time of the year. I did enjoy your voice over. You have a very soothing voice. What a beautiful waterside walk Andy. Parking prices are ridiculous aren't they, we've just been up in the Lake District and spent a fortune on parking. It certainly looks like a lovely area to visit.
Hi Nettie, Yes, it is a lovely place, but parking has been a recent issue in Bourton, especially with tourist coaches. Hope you have a good bank holiday.
Thanks for making this video. I've heard a lot about this place and it is great to be able to see it like this. I'd love to visit, but not sure i'd like the crowds too much. Can you recommend any similar villages/towns in the area that manage to avoid being crammed with tourists due to not being so well known?
Thank you so much 💓, I have a few suggestions for you. Not so well known is Chipping Norton. Also, consider Cirencester, which is the hub of the cotswolds, but is spacious. Just outside of the cotswolds is Witney, which is not so much on the tourist trail. Hope this helps.
