Cool! I’m looking for ultra simplicity but can’t decide between hiring a person on Upwork or a template based thing like square space. I want the customer who visits the site to have 4 simple calls to action. Menu, gallery, order for pick up, google map directions. Do you think square space will work for this?

I'll suggest a website builder for you that will help with the features you want on your website. Although squarespace can work for it but you might not enjoy the feature on the website

everything you said is on point except one thing, you said not to use flash on your photos, that's completely wrong. all the photos you showed were done with flash, but I understand not knowing it if you are not into photography.
