wow it looks to me like its not worth going there. I was going to say Id rather drive there from the Gold Coast , its only a 20 hour overnight drive and no cues and terrorists and no rotten airports but it doesnt look like it would be worth any effort.
I drove to Bairnsdale and returned to the Gold Coast on he Saturday and was surprised at all the bike riders leaving early. One mob said they left early coz they ran out of grog!
Come to think of it, I didnt even see it on TV, nor see it on video.

I wish could ride too but 😢 but I can’t afford so many days of holiday you will need 3 days of riding from GC even if you cover 500km in a day … and same while returning …. It’s too expensive to stay anywhere minimum 100$ a night …. Anyways if you going next year let me know mate I will join you on my bike 😍👌🏽

@@CallMeBikeyI only overnight in he car so no motels, being a retired interstate truck driver its no effort to drive non stop, 12 hours to Canberra, 6 hours to Bairnsdale.
Trouble is at grand pricks weekend you struggle to get motel vacancies on the way.
I think next year I'll just watch it on TV.
