I consider myself fairly desensitized to horror movies by now... but this is one of those films (that really only come along once and a while) that still genuinely creeped me out! That light pole scene definitely rivals the infamous semi truck in the original Pet Sematary. Gut wrenching!
NEVER!!! I'm not doing a seance, playing with a Ouija board or nothing! If my loved one happens to come into my dream, then we can talk but beyond that...Im good lol
Oh man this movie…. Confession time. I’ve seen this movie twice but I’ve truly saw it once. During a writers retreat I could’ve been singing “Mary Jane” too loud and was out of during the movie. In my own world of…sleep. I was knocked the hell out. But second round man… the tension in this movie. Whew might make your head blow off… Seriously I didn’t have a movie pull me like this did and maybe because I was also experiencing getting over a death myself when I saw it. This movie tugs at you, pulls you to the edge of your seat.
Yea, you definitely cannot halfway watch this movie. there is so much happening and you will get lost quick lol. It is one of my faves and absolutely tough to watch if you're dealing with your own grief. Toni killed this role!
Love your channel & your reactions, especially to this mind blowing gem. My 2nd favorite paranormal movie behind the Exorcist. If you want to find another great movie by the same director, then definitely check out Midsommar. It's another slow burn horror/suspense movie with a twist, but more realistic in comparison to Hereditary. The ending is also very shocking & memorable, lol.
I have not watched Midsommar yet. I know the ending, unfortunately but still intend to react to it because I'm not 100% sure how the ending came to be.
Am I still on time out ma’am?? Lmfao 😂 yes fright night friday!!! Hereditary was scary & disturbing but has a terrible ending! I just don’t like the ending, doesn’t make any sense. Toni Colette was a beast in her performance & kinda terrifying when she bangs her head through the attic! Cool reaction Sista♥️♥️
You’re the only reactor I’ve seen that says anything about the mother telling Peter to take his sister to the party. It always bugs me so much; she’s not old enough to go to a high school party like that even if it was an innocent barbecue like he claimed. It’s just not appropriate and it drives me crazy
I hate it so much!! She knew he was irresponsible, so why punish him by making him take his awkward sister to the party?! Just say he can't go and leave it at that!
I made the mistake of watching this movie late at night. This movie messed me tf up. I don’t think I went to sleep as the same person that night. Ari Aster does disturbing better than anyone and with great acting and cinematography. This is a masterfully made movie but what I don’t understand is why people who watch this disturbing s@@t decide they want to watch more disturbing s@@t. Just saying.
This movie is the type of disturbing I can deal with but things like Human Centipede or Tusk....no thank you! I can handle supernatural things because body horror stuff....it's a big no for me
This is one of those movies you only watch once but watch the reactions over and over again
💯
Um, well no. I show this movie to everyone. I’ve seen it like a dozen times

Yes!! Both scenes are shocking but them going back to show Charlie's severed head on the side of the road takes the cake for me
God, I saw this in theaters, too, and the shock and disgust and terror I felt throughout…this film is such a masterpiece, absolutely love it. ❤️
Yes!!! And I can rewatch it multiple times and still enjoy it
Love this movie so much! That piano wire scene freaks me out everytime. It was fun watching with you. Til the next one❤
And the scenes goes on for so long!! And the "thump" when her head finally hits the ground?!! OMG
This movie was absolutely crazy the first time I saw it. I never wanted to communicate with a spirit no matter who I'm grieving.
NEVER!!! I'm not doing a seance, playing with a Ouija board or nothing! If my loved one happens to come into my dream, then we can talk but beyond that...Im good lol
Great choice, Sista! The decapitation scene and her subsequent grief were so traumatizing.
Yes!!! Toni acting the hell out that scene!!! You could feel how broken she was at that point
2:34 we lovezzzz you too😂
❤️😂😂
The Dave Chappelle meme was perfect😂
We see each other ! 😂 That meme especially took me out
😂😂

So good but sad at the same time. Just like Midsommar was good but disturbing. Another great react, lady. :)
Thank you!!!
Missed so damn many details in this movie...all 3 times I've seen it. GOTTA give 'em props for that.
This is why the rewatch score for this one is so high for me! This also something else you'll catch with each watch
