Exellent choice about 50 wide 100 feet daylight photos But at night about 30 feet long by about 10 feet wide

Does it automatically send you photos that it captures, when it captures them, or do you have to prompt the app to retrieve photos?
How long do batteries last?

1. You set the frequency of when you want the photos, for example with each trigger, or once a day.
2. The battery life depends a lot on how hard the camera is working. There's lots in your control to preserve battery life - such as sensitivity, where you locate the camera (to avoid false triggers), and how frequent you want it to transmit. The Spypoint lithium battery might be your best option in the long term.
