    I bought the LM2 and so far I'm happy with it. Pictures sent to the app are much better than I expected. Battery life seems fair running AA batteries with pictures sent instantly. I ordered the Lit 10 battery pack. I would recommend this cheap Chinese camera.

    Any idea if the LIT-10 batt pack from the link micro S is compatible? Thanks in advance.

    • @mountainbuck
      @mountainbuck  ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t checked out the Link Micro S, but the housing looks almost identical to the LM2. It’s a good possibility that the battery pack will fit, but I’d double check with customer service before purchasing. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

      Hey thanks for watching. Have you updated the software? SpyPoint sends out firmware updates and maybe that will
      help. I don’t think I’ve had any trouble getting downloads. The only problem I’ve had recently is when testing the new FLEX-Plus, the on demand feature didn’t work for me. I’m sure they’ll send an update out to fix that at some point (unless it was a problem with the camera I was testing).

    I found these cameras to be twitchy and better suited for food plot use. 50% of the photos were empty frames! IDK if they were catching movement of the wind or bug fly-bys. I had to put the settings way down, other than the megapixal setting. It's not as good as the Cuddyback Cellular Link camera system. I know they're pricey, but they offer a trade-in program, and you get 5 cameras. IMO, they are built better and have GPS to locate. Even for theft recovery! Just had a camera stolen, it was recovered in 24 hours......

    • @mountainbuck
      @mountainbuck  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Paul! Thanks for the heads up! I’ve been wanting to check those Cuddebacks out for a while now. Maybe I’ll pull the trigger next year. Their new cellular plan seems interesting. 👍🏻

    • @paulpryor850
      @paulpryor850 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'll warn you in advance that the instructions suck LOL. I am on the third generation of this system. The improvements have been outstanding, and the plans are better and less costly.

      @@paulpryor850 u had me until pricey there's where we had to part ways. One day yelp one day my ole wallet will let me make the decisions. Until then I got to listen to him. Electric company, and bank and few other places don't like it when I go off on my own and not consult my wallet friend. Yes they will punish me for it . Flip few switches and wal-la no power, or no water worst of all minus bank account.

      @paultrimble9390 The Cuddeback Cellular Link system is a complete system. 5 cameras, lithium battery packs, solar panels, and the SD cards. Retail $1,100.00 + tax! 1 Spypoint Link-Micro-S-LTE retails for $150.00 + tax + a micro SD card. So let's tack on another thirteen bucks for a grand total for 5 of these cameras of $815.00 + tax. For a difference of $285.00! Then, you have to take into consideration individual plans for 5 Spypoints cameras. Compared to one Cuddeback plan that covers all 5 cameras. Also, one can customize their setup with Cuddeback and add additional cameras. They have a trade-in plan plus GPS tracking on all this system. So, this setup uses satellite and cellular towers. You get what you pay for! Also, I monitor thousands of acres of my own and families property. A lot of the cameras monitor these properties year-round. My first generation Cuddeback link cameras have been in use for 6+ years. Highly doubt those Spypoints last as long! I've been using game cams since they used 35mm film LOL. If one needs a 5 camera system, Cuddeback is the best option, IMO. A single camera buyer, not so much......

    • @mountainbuck

      This will work with AT&T or Verizon. If you don’t have that in Mexico, you should check out the Keen Ranger PT and get a SIM card from EOIT Club (I have a video on the Keen Ranger if you’d like to check it out)
