im just happy this underrated series is still getting some love and that there's a channel dedicated. i know it'll never happen but i still have hopes of a remake of one of the games or a new installation.
Good spot. At 0:57 where the narrator speaks of Goemon the banner in the top-left states "Southern Country" (南国) and bottom right is just "Go" (ゴ) as in "Go"emon ("ゴ"エモン). I presume this is Goemon's hanko Stamp For 1:04, top-left is Ebisumaru's hanko stamp is "E" (エ) for "E"bisumaru ("エ"ビス丸) and top-right banner states "Snow Country" (雪国). The only other untranslated text I can think of is during the bosses where it shows the weak point, specifically "ココねらえ" which means "Aim Here".
Awesome, thanks so much for this! Been hoping for a fan translation of this one for years, maybe someday someone will hack it together but just having the cutscenes in English is great :)
@@Josuh Hi Yoh, it's been a long time since we don't talk. What's up? Also, I'm a Goemon fan since my childhood! The first goemon game that I played was *Ganbare Goemon: Kakaruki Douchuu!* (NES/Famicom)
Briefly, and I do mean briefly, more like a mini game, Yae helps Ebisumaru to reach the next area of a stage (briefly shown here, it's not a long bit either).
Random comment. I was wondering maybe if you can make a video dissecting Oedo Daikaiten? Which original game/stage it homages and where it pulled the stage BGM from?
I didn't know there are an English translation!! I have played this game in japanese but I can defeat the cat robot in Impact battle. By the way, I didn't know this game was dangerous to people with epilepsy. I am not a physician so I may be wrong, but I think not every videogame or cartoon are dangerous to epileptics but some concrete lights (for example, in the Porygon chapter of Pokemon). So I guess if you have posted a warning, or that game has caused epileptic attacks before or you know that kind of lights are dangerous. In the first case, I'd like to know more. In the second case, too bad if Konami did so… if you know that kind of lights are dangerous, a game company shouldn't use in their games.
I don't think this game has triggered anyone's epilepsy in its native form (on GB) but the video is a lot bigger and some of the flickering that would be obscured on a GB screen are bright and vivid in the video due to the way it's presented.

Nice, a new Goemon video! Thanks for your hard work!
I played a few Goemon games on Game Boy before but never tried this one.

0:57 there are two untranslated. One on the top left and one on the below right. And there are some more untranslated in the little boxes anywhere.

This looks cool! Is Yae playable in this?
Only goemon and ebi.
