X4 Foundations: 7.5 Beta 7 - Testing terran destroyers vs xenon SPP, with the latest improvements

Beta 7 just droped, the save file prior to my latest test was available, players are all in position, time for a new test.
Conclusions:
I'm not sure if it was luck or AI improvements, as I had some close calls with gravition L turrets. But, what I know for certain, is that the demolition went a lot faster, and even the Asgard was hitting the target (whaaaat!?)
I had to intervene once, when the lead Syn reposition itself right in the path of the Asgard main weapon, remove the attack order, only to have the Asgard firing a shot, even w/o orders (!?). Man the test would have taken a funny turn if I were to be blow up in my lead destroyer. :))
What to say in conclusion...I was already fine with the beta 6 behavior, accepting that I would have to assit the terran destroyers with my player controled Asgard, and beta 7 certainly feel like an improvement...but, I'm a little worried about the close calls I had with the graviton turrets fire, and wonder if I would also have them with CW destroyers.
PS: who says that demolition is boring, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time :))

It was a wild ride seeing you from utter mad/defeated about 7.5 to now being kind of enthousiastic about it, excited to see it release with probably more nice things and mods up to date.
To be honest, the reason I'm kind of enthusiastic about 7.5 launch, is because with it might come the Hyperion mini DLC. 😋
But even that is still a long time off, as bug reports are already on the beta feedback forum, after beta 7. 😐

I tested destroyers vs a couple Xenon bases this morning with 7.5 b7, and it was greatly improved. But, some of my destroyers did decide to take a flyby of the Xenon defense station in order to reposition themselves to hit non-destroyed sections of the station, taking some graviton fire in the process. In some cases, they boosted themselves to safety, but in other, I had to emergency teleport to the destroyer, take the helm, and boost it to safety myself. Not sure if there is some pilot skill level component involved as to why sometimes they boosted away, and sometimes they didn't.
So, the devs solve the issue of destroyers sometimes not firing, by sometimes having close calls with graviton turrets. 🤔
Still, 7.1 have the best destroyers behavior, imo...so I guess that with 7.5, we get some engine effects and quality of life perks as Wide Array and Replace Lost Ships, at the price of slightly less effective destroyers, and a bit of higher losses rates amoung S bombers and interceptors. 🤔
Is safe to assume that 7.5 will not improve the AI compared to 7.1, but things will be manageable enough for AI controled forces, so I will not be forced to skip this update. 🤔
Looks like the Asgard was firing its beam right through an open space in the solar power panels, thus not damaging it.
Yeah, I review the footage and indeed it happened a lot. 😐
But at least is very circumstantial and if that were a defence module, it would have taken the beam's dmg.
