Then, calculate the area of 2cm X 2cm sq.box according to your Map scale of your study area. Like, here 1:50,000 or 2cm = 1km So, 2cm X 2cm = 1km X 1Km = 1sq.km. So 1sq.km = 400 small box And then count the small box and calculate the area With unitary method.

For area calculation always calculate no 0.1cm... bcz 1*1 cm represent 100 boxes
