I loved this song back then, and in 2004 I got close with a Filipina girl when I lived in Abu Dhabi, her name was Alfie Halibas... I was quite into her, but she didn't feel the same... ANYWAY... she reminded me of this song. And today that memory came back so I came to TH-cam to have a listen.
Now that I am in my 30s and my kids are turning teens, this line of the song "hey mom, what is it like when you were young" hit me so hard. It's a rollercoaster of emotions my kids.. but it's worth it I'm sure of that
