And listening to it in the second half of 2021, not only is this song still timeless and still one of my favourite songs ever from one of my favourite movies ever, it sparks a yearning in me to turn back time to the 90's when the world was a far better place.

It's sad, that Aqua didn't live up to their true potential. This song is an absolute evergreen. Beautiful voice of Lene and exquisite music of "Turn back time" prove, that it was a terrible choice of Aqua to make "cartoonesque", silly and not ambitious music. If they chose high quality pop instead of cheap disco, they would probably still be popular.

Excellent song. I first heard it in Italy in 1999 and, incredibly, after almost 16 years, I heard it again today. I hadn't heard it in 16 years. That's quite surprising since I've been living in Europe since 2001. I'd never forgotten it but can't believe I never heard it in 16 years. Music has deteriorated so much since then it's almost incredible.
They had another pretty good single with the same trip-hop ballad style called “Good Morning Sunshine”. It was moderate hit in Europe, but song is so good!

I was 10 when this came out. Still is my favorite song. This was the peak of Aqua's fame. Imagine having to wait for MTV to show this music video. the agony of waiting.

+I AM SPONGEBOB, DESTROYER OF EVIL When I first started to read about this band, I saw under their hit singles "Barbie Girl". I simply said "So that was you guys?". I gradually listened to more and more of their songs and eventually found this. Now this is my number 1 "Chill Out" song.
Aqua were an awesome band back in the day, this tune and was number one back in June 1998. I saw them perform this song on TOTP with my school pals must of been 14 years old at the time. 90's were a great time to be teenager days before social media, you can be free and do stuff that no one would not known.

Wow I got married in June of 1998 while stationed at Hill AFB, UT I was 25 at the time. I miss the 90's too wish I could go back. I'd be almost out of HS having graduated in 1992.

Excellent song. I first heard it in Italy in 1999 and, incredibly, after almost 16 years, I heard it again today. I hadn't heard it in 16 years. That's quite surprising since I've been living in Europe since 2001. I'd never forgotten it but can't believe I never heard it in 16 years. Music has deteriorated so much since then it's almost incredible.

Wonderful memories! ;-( I am 38 now and I miss the 90s so much. In my loneliness the music of the 90s give me hope and sometimes I wish that everything would be like in those days. It's very painful and I realized that that's not possible, but nobody can take your memories away.
