In the 90's Aqua were absolutely the kings of cheesy yet unforgettable pop songs that have all become classics. This was proof that they were much, much more than that. And listening to it in the second half of 2021, not only is this song still timeless and still one of my favourite songs ever from one of my favourite movies ever, it sparks a yearning in me to turn back time to the 90's when the world was a far better place.

It's sad, that Aqua didn't live up to their true potential. This song is an absolute evergreen. Beautiful voice of Lene and exquisite music of "Turn back time" prove, that it was a terrible choice of Aqua to make "cartoonesque", silly and not ambitious music. If they chose high quality pop instead of cheap disco, they would probably still be popular.

Aqua were an awesome band back in the day, this tune and was number one back in June 1998. Wonderful memories! ;-( I am 38 now and I miss the 90s so much. In my loneliness the music of the 90s give me hope and sometimes I wish that everything would be like in those days. It's very painful and I realized that that's not possible, but nobody can take your memories away.

I agree. I was 14 then and 90s was absolutely a wonderful era. I miss those years and I miss all the wonderful people that are now gone. If we could just "turn back the time" and if only we could.
