The thing that made the witcher series work is its strongly defined protagonist. Unlike most games these days which give you a heavily customisable self insert, it was possible to write good and meaningful dialogue between the player character and the various other characters. I began to play this game last year at the end of January 2022. I was going through a very hard time with my ex-girlfriend at the time. When I managed to get to Oxenfurt (a week later), she broke-up with me. I was so depressed, like I just wanted to die every fucking days crying alone at night for hours. When I began studying French, I got some The Witcher 3 playthroughs with French dubs and recorded some lines to put them on Anki (search about it). Most are from the beginning of the game, so they have this song playing in the background. This song takes me back to when I played the game for the first time at launch, 4 years ago... and when I was creating these cards for Anki, 2 years ago.
I think it is on the US version... No idea why it's not on the official one or why they made them differently. This tune is definitely a big part of why I fell in love with Witcher 3.
1 of the only sound tracks that makes me tear up a bit, white orchard has to be one of the best set, themed, and directed areas in the entire game I love this prelude
I am blessed to have enjoyed witcher 3, both young and now older and mature. best part, the game is timeless. music and the emotional weight this game punctuates, its timeless. doesnt get old, take the game slow. stay on the path, but know that the wilds offer greater treasures.
Oh man I just got hit with the biggest punch of nostalgia. Exiting the prologue and having the whole world at my fingertips, hundreds of monsters to slay, women to bed, and gwent games to lose. Never have I been so invested in the world and story of a game. I wish I could wipe my memory and play this game for the first time all over again😢
Thanks for sharing. Finished it recently. The song is playing in the place where the game starts and ends at the same time (in "happy" ending). In the latter case it doesn't prompt curious feeling but sadness and depression. Now I feel empty inside... The story is pretty sad. The books aren't happy either.

@@PolishGod1234 nah red dead 2 is an experience that you never forget
So many emotions. Witcher 3 is really good but, red dead 2 is just better imo
@@randomness5281 well that's your opinion. I found Witcher's World, story, setting, and characters more engaging than these in Red Dead Redemption 2. Nothing beats Baron's quest and Hearts of Stone Dlc.
@@PolishGod1234 again, your opinion
When I began studying French, I got some The Witcher 3 playthroughs with French dubs and recorded some lines to put them on Anki (search about it). Most are from the beginning of the game, so they have this song playing in the background. This song takes me back to when I played the game for the first time at launch, 4 years ago... and when I was creating these cards for Anki, 2 years ago.
Almost two more years now :^)
To all fellow witchers i love u and we will always will be friends even if we never met each other in our lives♥️
Among the best games ever
This music has helped me so much with studying🙌💛🙏
Hearing this for the first time I had goosebumps
Why isn’t this on the album?!
@werpis stfu werpis you weirdo
I think it is on the US version... No idea why it's not on the official one or why they made them differently. This tune is definitely a big part of why I fell in love with Witcher 3.
With my headphones on high your music sounds fantastic to my head & ears.
1 of the only sound tracks that makes me tear up a bit, white orchard has to be one of the best set, themed, and directed areas in the entire game I love this prelude
That melody and cold sun light of winter, oh memories...
White Orchard is one of the best tutorial level in an adventure game I ever seen
I love this moment with Vesemir
I cannot comprehend this game was released more than 7 years ago
This music make me in peace...like when you are in another world...it's magic... it's beautiful
i feel the same
1:02-1:12 The best
1:22 - 2:05 for me
@@Oabize clubbed to death?
I would like to forget everything about this breathtaking game and play it again..
I put the game on pause and fall asleep to this
I am blessed to have enjoyed witcher 3, both young and now older and mature. best part, the game is timeless. music and the emotional weight this game punctuates, its timeless. doesnt get old, take the game slow. stay on the path, but know that the wilds offer greater treasures.
Wind's howling...
The best sountrack in the game
Thanks for sharing. Finished it recently.
The song is playing in the place where the game starts and ends at the same time (in "happy" ending).
In the latter case it doesn't prompt curious feeling but sadness and depression. Now I feel empty inside...
The story is pretty sad. The books aren't happy either.
Slavic way...
that takes me back...
Give us a Witcher 4. I need a knew soundtrack and beautiful land to walk out into and feel like this again.
Please, cdpr. Make a remaster with new graphics and facial animations after a few years. Everyone who liked the game will play it again.
I already wrote it down to recommend it to my children once they are of age.
Dude, they are for ps5 and Xbox series x
doubting that anyone would see this, but keep going. you're doing great ヅ
I'm Brazilian, man, this atmosphere, this Witcher 3 setting is surreal, it's really good, these soundtracks give me goosebumps, I remember the time when I played every single day, I finished it 8 consecutive times, today unfortunately I don't have that much free time anymore, but I'll try to play again regardless of whether I have time or not lol
Good song for meditatition, 19 minutes relaxation
Damn, just delete my brain memory, and I want to play this game again...
seriously, the second play-through is nothing compare to first one.
No you dont! Play GTA V for better game
@@revivrevalchn3503 agreee :(
@@revivrevalchn3503 I tried it for the second time. It was ok, but not the same feeling :/
@@phoenix1453 lol, you don't compare this "nigga all good in da hood" kind of crap with witchers, "brah"
