I think your song has potential. It needs a little work. perhaps sing the 2nd word as "song", just repeat it. If I were to produce it, I'd recommend it start and end on acoustic but give the song a like punk rock type feel to it. Perhaps sing verse 2 and the chorus and bridge a bit more edgier then soft again on the outro. Just some ideas. I'm not far from you. Let me know if you like some help from a pro. 37 years in the business. I have decent equipment as well.
