Crazy to think I was an assistant engineer at CRC in Chicago where they were mixing the last few records for the 2nd Album. that was about 20 years ago while cube was shooting for the barber shop movie and was when then stopped talking to each other. I was already a huge fan as I bumped the first album nonstop in high school so I was probably acting like a weirdo but I can say Mac was one of the most professional polite stars that I have ever had the chance to work with. Always said thank you and never disrespectful to any of the staff. Much love to Mac 10!! Side note this was pre legal greens and they brought some serious gas from Cali that knocked my socks off😂

So good to see an OG, a legend, Mack 10 back out here publicly and about to drop some new music for his core fans such as myself. Mack 10 is def a west coast legend. I'm looking forward to this Red Print album, and the King of Chevys is getting played daily by me. That's crazy that he says he hasn't seen or talked to Ice Cube or Dub C in more than 20 years. I guess time doesn't mend all fences. Mack's debut is my fav album of his, and his most underrated project imo is Hustlaz Handbook, which had Like This featuring Nate Dogg (r.i.p.) as the first single.

I got love for Mack 1. 0. but Bootleg kept it real when he said "I was thinkin' bout the other ice" but DAMN, man! Gangsters Make The World Go Round is one of the hardest songs til' this day. Mack 10 had a classic bar when he said " I gave up sports to slang ki's, and blamed it on my knees" matter of fact his whole verse was 🔥 as well as Cube and Dub C. He stayed away from that conversation, and that's ashame because those guys had the game on lock. BIG respect to Mack 10 for his contribution to hip hop.
