There’s only 2 things I don’t like about this. The fork covers & the mirrors sticking out at the end of the bars. Makes it harder to get in between spaces. Other than that, it’s not bad. I ended up going with the Solar Eclipse Race Edition. Felt like it was the better choice for what I planned on using it for.
@@easyheimer about a week before T-Day. I actually just got an email saying it’s being shipped. It’ll likely be a week before it gets to me though as it’s in CA and I’m in CT lol.
@@easyheimer IKR...don't get ppl that throw "Made In China" out there as if most products are not made there are in that region of the world. Half of what it sell for right now. The manufacturing cost is not that high. Believe or not but the most expensive "part" of the bike was probably the software development. Mechanically it is very simple design and materials are also on a budget site (no exotic materials like carbon fiber).
@@easyheimer It is already down $1,000 and I predict that it will go down even more over time. It is a product for.a very small market segment and if overpriced it will be doomed to fail.
Let's be honest, for 8K USD you can buy a reputable brand traditional motorcycle which is superior in buid quality, materials, range and performance. The biggest marked for motorbikes are developing countries and we can all agree that chargers infrastructure isn't there yet if at all.
Problem that you will be beta tester for this bike. Yes it looks good and nice, but be ready to have a ton of issues with it. I had same mistake with a car which was release by large brand 1st generation, and it broke 3 times in first 3 month, and i had 9 visits to dealerships - never again.
That’s Outset and, no…At peak performance with the power controller. Both the Ryvid Anthem and Outset blows the thing out of the water (27HP peak output with ASI power upgrade and a 300ft/lb + of torque, sub 5 seconds 0-60). No contest, for the exception of battery capacity.
Thank you for clarifying! Really hoping we can get one for the channel as we get many requests and comparisons to other bikes we’ve review. We’ve heard nothing but great things about the both Ryvid bikes.
Yeah but this thing is a full fledged motorcycle. It’s important people have proper training to operate it or people would be getting seriously hurt or killed left and right.
@easyheimer okay what about the land moto? It's considered an e-moto it goes about the same speed as the naxeon. No license required. Also the surrons, talaria etc most of them go 60mph
Technically the Land Moto needs to be registered. Same as the others. You can take the chance but the more it looks like a dirt bike or motorcycle the higher the chance LEO will take notice.
I got the black one. It is powerful. trust me
Awesome! Worth the price?
nice review Rob👍
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Literally getting my license just to buy this
Awesome! Such a sick bike.
For some reason I was expecting you to interview the CEO 😂
That’s planned for the future.
@ I was going to try to interview him but after interviewing Storm Sondors, I don’t wanna jinx anything 😀
Nice. You interviewed Storm?

@@easyheimerI did! It’s called “Storm Sondors Interview at the LA Auto Show 2021”
Are they being sold in Australia ? I really hope so
I’m not really sure. Have you tried reaching out?
That claimed range is possible if you go very slow. Crank it up to fun speed and you might get a third of the quoted range.
That’s with any bike. Manufacturers always give the best possible range numbers but don’t tell you that’s with the lowest power setting.

True. I’m sure they’ll make some revisions after hearing feedback from their customers.
How do you like the solar eclipse and what it’s your use case?

Nice! When did you order?

Awesome. I’m also in CT. Where abouts in CT?
Need some authentic exhaust sound to alert Drivers around you for safety reasons
That is a very good point! How loud should it be?
@easyheimer As loud and beautifully sounding as a Superbike exhaust to catch other motorists attention.
Yeah, definitely should think about artificial exhaust sound.
Sound is safety is a myth.
To a certain extent. It can help.
Puede llevar 2 ocupantes...
Yes it can.
white is their best color the grays just make it look cheap/ worn for some reason.
I agree. White is perfect on this bike.
3:58 made/manufactured in China? 😅
What isn’t?

Yep! Very well said.
Cool bike, waaaaay overpriced for what it is! 🤷🏼
It’s very cool. With the tech it has I think it’s reasonably priced. What do you think the price should be?

If pricing is not very expensive it’s gonna sell like hot cakes in India
Absolutely. Just give it some time and it’ll come down.

@@easyheimer no thank you I’d rather have a ninja 650 for that price.
Hey, that’s your decision to make. ICE motorcycles are still significantly cheaper than electric.

This is true.
Ugly imo.
You think so? What bike do you like better?
I guess I’m convinced this destroys the Ryvid Anthem and Onset
Those are also two fantastic bikes. Hoping to get one or both for the channel as well. You thinking of getting one of these?

Shame you need a M1 license to ride one. It would've sold much more with the e bike community
Yeah but this thing is a full fledged motorcycle. It’s important people have proper training to operate it or people would be getting seriously hurt or killed left and right.
Have you done anymore testing on the bike? For example real world long range test?
