- I had a huge demande of making a video on this so here it is! Don't mind my french accent did the best I could lol. The pipe that needs to be cut on the frame is not structural, it was only for the factory air intake. If there is any questions, ask in the comments I'll reply pretty quickly. Yessir.
Id run 1.5 pvc pipe and have it come out the rear tool box straight up with a pod filter on it. I dont want to cut my frame and i wouldnt trust the pool hose not to tear on branches
What hubs do u have
Stock.
If you're wanting to put different wheels on a big red you probably have 4/150 lug spacing hubs and limited options. But 300ex hubs have the same spline count on the axles and changes the lug spacing to 4/110 and then you can put 12" modern wheels on it. Thats what I did works great.
In your other video it doesn't explain how you lifted the three-wheeler 6in
whats the material you used on the air box lid?

I know time has passed but I am trying to find information on how to lift these things up, I know you probably get that question a lot lol. I have a 83 big red 200. I have done read forums for hours no luck any help would be appreciated

André Martin yes sir I have probably about 5 times lol, I understand the front somewhat but the rear I am lost. As far as hub used rim used tire. I would be more than happy to pay for a detailed explanation at this point lol

Have you ever had problems with it dying when the carb goes underwater mine does I'm not sure why any ideas?
Nop, check for cracks/leak in the boot that goes from the engine to the carb or carb to air box. Make sure the carb breather i'snt pinched or something. Good luck.
For the tubing how did you extend it? Just replace the hose or add a new one?

I found these locally second hand. Silverbacks for tires and thr wheels are from a G1 renegade. They are flipped. Hope this helps!

Did you have to cut the hole any larger in the airbox for that adapter you used or did it fit in the stock hole the rubber boot was originally on?
Pretty sure I had to cut it a little bigger, this fitting is round and the stock is oval.

It was something the plumbers left at the job site lol never seen one again.
André Martin lmao hmm what else could I use? I wonder if a vacuum line from a vacuum would work just seal the adapter part on the inside of the box and have the little nub stick outside?
