Hipolita was 100% correct when saying that. But just like Diana said at the end of WW. She’s doing this because she believes in love and helping others, even if they might not deserve it. That’s the beauty of her character.
Very true ,but i believe in Love and helping others ...she was my favorite character growing up...when i first watch with Linda Carter as Wonder Woman ,i was in my yard spinning around and my father saw me ,I said to him i wanted to be strong like that...Wonderful movie still my favorite character and what it implies ,goodness,truth ,strength ,kindness and most of all love...Life can be very tough and people will disappoint you but i still believe....
@@indie_life2034 But does she delivers as a goddess/demigod? Can she save humanity from Ares corruption in a shorter time. I am intrigued by the watch gift symbolism. She did said "You let this little thing tell you what to do?" about the watch. She went away against her Mom and Sisters advises. In the end she chooses to serve the lesser race of Men, fulfil her destiny forged by her Dad and avenge her lover's death. She might be humble. But as a goddess/demigod I hope she can deliver upon her speech about believing in Love. Otherwise, Ares would be right it's just Lies but who cares... he supposedly died anyways!
She kept saying Ares is bad he's must be killed to save the race of Men. She also have a lengthy speech with her brother Ares. But she got insight and renew strength only thru Steve's death and not thru her conflict with Ares. I don't really like that. Her biggest lesson death mourning is thru a support role char not the main antagonist.

I missed the movie..
I've loved Wonder Woman since I was 5 yrs old. When Linda Carter played her in the series. My uncle got me my first Wonder Woman comic in the 80's and I was hooked ever since. Im 46yrs old now and I still get butterflies in my stomach. First woman Crush for me, doesn't matter if I see her in animation or a real person plays her. It's the meaning and spirit of the character that get my blood flowing. I Love Love Love her, she so empowering...
She is my absolute favorite superhero for all of the reasons you express here. Thank you.

Technically Diana is a god she was brought to life by Zeus so her father is technically her father ❤️ so to me she is a god because a god can only kill a god and her brother is ares and she killed him. Facts ❤️
Not only that, but she killed Ares with lightning. Ares apparently forgot that the daughter of Zeus, the master of the lightning bolt, MIGHT be able to wield lightning a little better than most others could. So the dummy sent lightning at her. Didn't seem to work so well for him.
