Hi Connie! Does wrappping the mozz with the plastic wrap help prevent it from getting watter logged before it sets?

Could irish moss (sea moss) be used instead of either?🤷‍♀️

Thanks so much for the info Connie. I am going to try to order the Kappa carrageenan on Amazon like you suggested the other day. I am not an online shopper, but I cannot find it and my daughter really really wants me to make your buffalo mozzarella 😊 and since I've been following you since I found you last August, and every single recipe has been amazing :-) I really have to try that mozzarella. And funny thing is today I made your chickon because i'm going to make Buffalo chicken nuggets tomorrow :-) and again thank you Connie for always giving us such wonderful recipes 😁

Connie's RAWsome kitchen well I'm happy that I did :-) today is my birthday and I've been spending the whole day in the kitchen making Connie meals LOL. Like I said I started following you in August and the only reason I remember that is because I was housesitting for my oldest daughter when they went to British Columbia for a holiday. And I found you on TH-cam looking for a vegan beef jerky for my youngest daughter. When I made that I knew that I found the person that I want to follow. And the real funny thing is all day today I've been humming that song that you have and most of your videos Bushwick Tarantella Loop" I can't get it out of my head every time I go into the kitchen now I'm dancing around humming in that silly song LOL thank you I love it ☝️

Thanks connie, I think I get it now. whew! sometimes it gets a little intimidating ya know. I do have the agar flakes, but I don't have the powder. I needed this video, sure helps me understand.

Does the Carrageenan make the vegan cheese more firm than agar? I have tried 4 time to make a vegan cheese that is as firm/hard as that I find in stores but every time it comes out with the texture/consistancy of soft tofu or even jelly. Yeah, it is firm enough to stand up but still jelly like. Maybe I used too much water. Not sure.

You are wonderful, Connie! Love your creativity with vegan recipes, ESPECIALLY with the cheeses! I have tried the buffalo mozzarella with agar agar, and cannot wait to try the carrageenan version! :)

VERY informative. I made a batch of mozzarella before with agar powder, thinking it was going to be stretchy on my pizza. Then I watched this video and remembered it was the mozzarella cheese you made with the kappa that you said was stretchy like the real mozzarella. I guess I'll have to try another batch with the kappa after the other cheese is all gone. Again, thank you for having another giveaway. I know I won't win, but it's worth a try.

Awesome, I always wondered if agar can serve as a substitute for kappa as I can't find the kappa anywhere. But I might just buy it online because I want that raw and melty cheese :)

Thank you so very much for this video. I want to try your cheese recipes so badly. I have looked high and low for carrageenan. My last resort is to order online and I have reservations about that. Again, I thank you so much!

Looked at your cheese recipe yesterday, and you put agar agar straight into the liquidiser, then cooked it on the hob. Here you are saying melt the agar agar first???? Not a vegan or vegetarian, and don't want to be, but why so much conflicting info on this youtube place?????

just me trying different ways and seeing what works out. I also show results and then it's up to people to decide which one they would like to try
