    This video is 😂😂 Please don’t delete this video after the season. I will definitely be back to visit this. The fact that Nebraska lost games within one score means they could’ve easily won eight or nine games last year and in your opinion ultimately means they beat CU this year?? CU did the same thing and could’ve had the same record. This is hilarious. I’ll be back. Maybe you’ll respond to this message because I’ve been in the comments and you only respond to pro Deion hate 😂😂

    • @BkAlaskan
      @BkAlaskan 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      I was about to say the exact same thing. The people spend too much time reading stats. CU is the most chronicled team in CFB history. If they would just take a moment to watch what is being constructed they wouldn’t sound so ill informed. But such is life. I will definitely be back at the end of the season. Lost 5 games by one possession, objectively bigger, faster and stronger. Easier schedule, a better coaching staff yet they will be plagued by the same things as last year!?!?!? He lost me when he said Sean Lewis is better than Pat Shurnur.

      You do know Vegas has them at 4.5 wins right? So, my opinion is in the majority, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone to fall close to that. I respond to every single comment, as long as I’m tagged in it I’ll respond. If you cursed me out lol I’d still respond, because I’m still thankful someone watched. We’re just sports fans at the end of the day. Col and Neb are not in same position. One got better every game, one spiraled down hill every game. Nebraska, They have a better coaching staff, and bringing back a top 20 defense, and their at home! What is Colorado bringing back? A bottom 20 defense, a 28 ppg offense. Your point would hinge on having seen Col improve, they got worse every week since week 1. In Div 1 Deion has only won 4 games, Rhule is superior as of right now. Maybe I’m wrong though, can’t be right about everything. No big deal though either way

      @@3rd-And-Long -Stick with that. I’ll be seeing during the season. I am watching this team grow. I listen to the kids being interviewed, the coaches. The best part. There are 3 channels that give us a front row seat. Then there are another 3-4 that aren’t front row but close enough. So you stay buried in stat sheets or sticking to what Vegas says. I’ll keep watching this team do what they do and we will see who got it right. For the record. I have placed 1 sports bet in my life. On Colorado and made a bag. So….Vegas doesn’t quite have this team dialed in. And they are way off this year in my estimation. But all will be revealed in time.

      @@BkAlaskan I hear you, I don’t necessarily agree that their better in all areas, but maybe I’m wrong. I do know they finished the season worse then any other college football team. Offense, defense, they both got worse every game from game 1 to 12. Lost 6 games to end the year, I mean that’s bad. Coordinators playing musical chairs in year 1. Not top 60 in any category on offense or defense. So it’s not a far cry for people to not have confidence in this team. Deion has the pressure on him to prove the doubters wrong, not the other way around. If they won 6 or 8 games, I’d be happy for them. Like I said I was rooting for him to succeed last year. But all I saw personally was dysfunction at the highest level. And yeah I don’t think Shurmur holds a candle to current college OCs. I’m not knocking his NFL resume, but that’s a different game.

      @@BkAlaskan good point, and true. I wouldn’t mind if you’re right. I will say Vegas had Colorado at 3.5 wins last year, so they were spot on. People were laughing at Vegas after 4 weeks, but by the end they were right. I’m not saying Colorado can’t have a good year, but I need to have Deion prove it to me. I don’t like how it ended last season on his watch. It was a side show and I hold that on him as the coach. But hey it was his first time in D1, he may have learned from the mistakes of last year

    One thing you didn’t mention, Colorado also lost 5 games by one possession last year. I have them at 8-4, I think the defense will be better this year with who they brought in. They actually picked up OL that were wanted by sec and other big 12 schools. Utah only beat Colorado by 6 without Shedeur and a freshman starting his first game.

    • @3rd-And-Long
      @3rd-And-Long  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great points, very possible. I’d say that Utah also didn’t have Rising and was playing with their 2nd and 3rd string qb, so that evens out. But you might be right if they can close in on those one possession games. But man, they finished the regular season about as worse as anybody in the country last year. And we don’t know what Pat Schumer’s offense is going to look like just yet. I do hope you’re right though. I like parity in college football and would like to see them have a great season

      @@3rd-And-Long it was definitely rough sledding at the end, but they had a lot of key starters out and relied on quite a few freshman to fill in roles those last few games. They’ve got better depth this year that’s actually quality, just the LB depth is questionable and the depth at center.

    I’m just curious about favoring his sons and Travis… who would you put in front of them. I get last year was tough but have you taken any looks at who’s come in? These transfers are a whole different level than last year. I’m not going to be delusional that it’s all perfect but it seemed like you were taking last years team and predicting how they would do instead of who’s there now

    • @3rd-And-Long
      @3rd-And-Long  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good point. When I said favoring, I was referring to Deion liking to be openly critical of coaches and some players last year, but he would never critique the QB who is also his son. He throws a pick in crunch time, misses a read, Deion says nothing. I only care because he wants to be the open coach with the media, but he’s only open if the player isnt named Sanders. That’s hypocritical. So I don’t mean favoring as in bench Shedeur, he’s one of the better college QBs. But if you want to talk all day to the media, you better be unbiased. He knocks a coach who he hired, he’s the head coach. It is always his fault

      @3rd-And-Long  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All of those points I mention in my video actually. Never said QB problem, I praised Shedeur and said 1st rd pick. What I’m referring to, is whenever a coach or player didn’t do anything wrong Sanders would trash them to the media. Whenever his son would throw an interception, he would have nothing to say, that can easily be viewed as favoritism to the quarterback who coincidentally is his son. If you’re going to publicly trash other players and coaches then you better do that with your own children, that’s all I’m saying. This isn’t an unheard of knock on Sanders, every sports commentator was also saying the same thing last season so it shouldn’t be a surprise. It would be better if the qb wasn’t the coaches kid, but it is what it is

    I think you need to examine Colorado's new defense. I don't think you get it. You're still thinking that they're on the same level as the team last year with the decrepit defense and no run stop. This team is completely opposite and will make it almost impossible to run the ball. This is why Nebraska will not win cuz 75% of their offense is on the ground.

    • @3rd-And-Long
      @3rd-And-Long  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree on those points, but I’m not going to 100% but I’m until I see it on the field. I cannot be sold they’ll have some great defense when last year was a joke. They’ll be better, but how much better? CU fans said the defense would be good last year too. I need to see it first. The coaching staff needs to show they can produce a good defense before I buy pipe dreams. The Big 12 might be the deepest RB conference this year, you’ll be tested by UCF, KU, Ok St, Tex Tech, all with top 10 running backs nationally. So that means that over 12 game schedule depth is going to become a factor. Great depth isn’t usually built through the transfer portal. So even if you have a great defense for the first few games, I find that hard to believe it’s gonna be lasting come the second half of the season. That will take time to build, and must be built through high school recruiting. Transfer portal is just to compliment. But I hear your points, and their spot on and valid. It’s just I’m wanting to see it to believe it is all

    You said Nebraska would beat them when Shedeur smoked their defense with weaker weapons on offense last year. How can you say Nebraska wins when they may start a QB with no experience yet? Based on PFF Colorado got better top to bottom. The projected starters on the O-line only gave up 10 sacks total. People overlook what CU has done in the offseason and are still looking at last season. Shedeur only needed 1.5 more secs and he was cooking a defense. Colorado wins 8-9 games this season. You don't respect there oline; you didn't even mention the crazy depth that they have on the Dline. I don't think you follow their team currently and are probably not informed. You didn't even make your prediction based on your own opinion, it is based on Vegas; bro be serious. Do some research before you drop a video making a prediction on a team you barely know anything about or even follow. I think people would respect it more if you at least showed that grace, but not doing research and dropping a prediction video based on what others think is crazy.

      So, I did not make my prediction based on Vegas, I said my opinion falls in line with Vegas... massive difference there. If I think Utah beats CU, it's not because Vegas also picks that, it's just we agree on that point. It's not some personal bias against CU. You may have a better O line, but they have never played a snap together. I need Deion to show me before I just blind agree on it, he showed last year don't trust the hype, show me results first. That line was awful last year, so improvement has to be measured. They will undoubtably be better, but so will almost every team on their schedule. Maybe you didn't follow BIG 12 before CU moved in when the PAC was dissolved. It's not just CU making moves, everyone is making moves and getting better. Almost every team on CU's schedule has made massive moves to the benefit of them, yet you only mention CU's moves. As if everyone else is running it back with last year's team, but CU is the only improved roster. Tex Tech, TCU, Neb, KU, K St, Utah, Ok St, all better than they were last year. I'm trying to analyze 132 Div1 teams, not just CU moves. I can see a world though where CU can get 8 wins, that's if everything falls their way. But yeah, I'll agree on that, it can happen. I would say 6 would be how far I'd go, but you might be right. Sometimes it's just your year ya know.

      @@3rd-And-LongYou used the odds from Begas to formulate your opinion; it was highly influenced by Vegas is what I should say. You claim you need to see it first but you were able to develop a prediction without seeing it of 4-8. How do you get to that record if you haven’t seen it? Are you using last years team team to measure this year? That wouldn’t make sense because the team’s roster is completely different. We were talking about Colorado not other teams, I don’t why you brought others into the convo. Shedeur is the best QB in the conference despite his flaws. He had a terrible offensive line and still ended up with outstanding numbers. Imagine what Shedeur does with a moderate to good oline. The way you are creating this record shows you haven’t done your research. Statements like Colorado doesn’t have the defense or won’t be physical enough shows you have not done the research needed. That is what we need before you drop a video like this research is needed.

Lost year's offensive line and this offensive line are vastly different and I do not know our offensive line in college football, besides maybe four teams that can sustain the rush from anybody like this team. You about to see the difference and you're about to find out that Nebraska is not going to be able to run, which means that they're going to have to throw and when they start throwing the ball they'll find out that it's a true no-fly zone. It's not going to be pretty and Nebraska will lose by more than two touchdowns

      But your speaking based off last season , a lot could change in a offseason the same way it did from before shedeur to after , not to mention most of there games were one score with the worst Oline in p5

      you might be right, but those other teams didn't just stay stationary. They made moves too and got better. Gotta see the big picture, it's not just CU, it's the other teams and what did they do to improve. Alost every team they play got better. It cuts both ways
