I like Sinatraa. He'll never compete again expecting offers to exceed his current revenue as a streamer. The esports industry is in financial disarray. Everyone knows you don't mainly go into comp for the money. s0m and FNS have talked extensively about how good the streamer life is. It's about fulfilling that desire to compete in the highest professional setting. Unless you're a top ace like Aspas, no streamer will ever jump into the scene for the money. Sin is very skilled for sure, but he hasn't proven he's still meta in a volatile game where goats like Demon1 and yay get recycled and significantly washed after just months. I'd sympathize with his perspective more if he already showed recent success on a current team, but he's expecting to finagle big numbers upon his first entrance after years being out of comp. Not judging but just observing: there's no way Sin is ever competing again unless his competitive drive supersedes the desire to make more money off comp over Twitch.
Its just even just a money thing but he wants to play for a "good" team, thats why he turned down a bunch of t1 offers from orgs who he thought had bad teams even though they mightve met his minimum salary but trialed with NRG
Signing a player isn’t just based on how good they are, it’s also the fan base. Sinatraa would require a high pay not just because he makes a lot from streaming, but also the fans that will buy merch and whatnot. This is why TenZ was paid so much (still low relative to how much he made from content creation but in relation to other pros)
Chet said when they trial Sinatra he performed really well, especially against op. Also he mains sova and raze which are never out of meta. So I think there’s a good chance he’d perform well
I wouldn't mind if he went back into pro play but I don't understand people who genuinely think it's likely, even if he's just as good (which isn't guaranteed) not a lot of NA teams will wanna sign him for 100k+ with no pro play experience for several years it just doesn't make sense for an org because a tier 2 player would be a bit more risky but 50% cheaper
It’s not about managing cost and playing it safe with a t2 player, it’s about taking chances to win events, esports orgs don’t sign players to make money
@@Emerald_Forge that’s a contract renewal, my point is, saying t1 orgs will sign a t2 player for less instead of a t1 level player who asks for several times more salary is not realistic, they are more than willing to take on better players and risk
Shitty situation but its a blessing in disguise, bros stream popped off and now if they want him back they gotta offer stupid money. Still would've loved to see him compete and dominate but at least hes free and happy now.
Considering the down trend of the popularity of e-sports and its waning réputation i dont expect him to join a professional team anytime soon. Also factoring in how that witch tarnished his reputation.
if Sinatraa took a pay cut and competed, he could become even bigger than he is now. Hell when he, shanks and prod competed, practically the whole valorant competitive scene was made aware of their run. If he came back, his viewership blow up even more than it is.
@@stt.9433 thats true but thats only for the short term, in the long run it would likely increase, but thats if he performs well and if he doesnt, his main viewers arent going to suddenly stop watching
Yeah, honestly this is very valuable information for upcoming pros or people who're looking to be, if you know you're good be sure to look to negotiate, some pros usually young can make mistakes with contracts. Like sinatraa sees it as a job but also a passion but ofcourse he has to make money, he knows he's good I'd say he'd go pro for like 40k maybe 30k a month.
With how sensetive to social issues and toxic positiveness riot is where the players have to walk on literal eggshells not to offend anybody and how unhinged and misandrist the playerbase is, i feel like they won't bring Sinatraa back even if he is proven completely innocent, i mean they can't offend those bunch of radicals that think the women is always a victim and it's always the men's fault.
H-he is a rapist it’s not walking on eggshells and he wants proven innocent she dropped the case because of the constant death threats and harassment she was getting from him fans
Personally as a fan I just want to see him compete one last time. But honestly like how he said he makes more money and wouldn’t want to go unless it’s worth it for the money which I understand tbh
I knew pros was gonna be paid well but not a clue it was 50k+ . And the fact it goes into 150k ^ is utterly insane. You practically own a business with that income. Then you have streaming and other perks as well. Dont get me wrong the stress associated will be hard and very time consuming. But the income is wild.
it's really unfortunate that his career went downhill after the accusations. he was one of most well known players and the allegations dragged him through the mud. Also the hate on sinatraa is so forced afterwards. Many hate on his personality when it's just satire and doesnt truly mean it. people are so parasocial
It’s definitely not shallow considering careers in esports can go away faster than even careers in regular sports which already aren’t that long. Need to make as much money as you can while you are able to, you never know what will happen in the future
No glaze but smart players like fns and boaster is trash at aim, but still in the league. Pro plays is not all about hitting flicks but rather team plays and brains. Sinatraa hs percentage might not be good but the positioning and util usage makes up for it
