The only thing that surprised me was a Ferrari in his garage, all the other cars fit his persona, but the Ferrari seems to be more of a Freddie or Roger car. I respect Mr. Deacon, retiring after Freddie's death was the right thing to do in my opinion, Queen is not "Queen" without the original four. Best bassist around, and such a wonderful personality, relaxed and laid back, but very business savvy. Cheers to John Deacon.
Loved this documentary about John Deacon. Queen has been my favorite band for 50 years and that is due to all 4 members. These men created beautiful and iconic music that will last forever. Although John considered himself to be "just the bass player", he wrote and performed with the greatest band of all times. I love John, along with Brian, Freddie and Roger, true legends that gave us many musical gifts that I play all the time. Thank you Queen from the bottom of my heart!

Loved this documentary about John Deacon. Queen has been my favorite band for 50 years and that is due to all 4 members. These men created beautiful and iconic music that will last forever. Although John considered himself to be "just the bass player", he wrote and performed with the greatest band of all times. I love John, along with Brian, Freddie and Roger, true legends that gave us many musical gifts that I play all the time. Thank you Queen from the bottom of my heart!
