I know the whole "He's 'fast'" joke has been done beyond death in this franchise, but did no one else think about the implications? It just seems really on the nose to go from rushing girls to bragging about being fast.

I wish Zero Gravity had the same mechanics as the first game, or at the very least kept the boost. Making the boost an item was very stupid. But the game had Blaze and Silver so I'm grateful for that.

Amusingly, he actually did the thing (I think) you're supposed to do when you're in 2nd place.
Use the special ability of the board you're using to get a massive speed up when the gravity boost happens.
I love the soundtrack in this game lol. I think that may have been the only reason why I played this more than the original Riders as a kid.

This was one of the first games I wanted to buy after I got my PS2 (yes, I was an Xbox kid for the longest time and got the Sony masterpiece well after its prime) so it's always had a special place in my heart. The cover art, that is. I never bought or played the game. And now thanks to Rob I'll never have to torture myself doing so! Thanks, man! ^-^

I love the first Riders and Zero Gravity equally. They're both really fun racers and I love how characters like Nights and Ulala from other Sega franchises appear in those games. I hope Sonic Team makes another Riders game in the future.

SRZG is my favorite Riders game and Free Riders came after and killed the series.
Edit: Lol. I actually like the Mobius Strip boss but the Time Eater boss I really hated.

Sonic Riders Zero Gravity, believe it or not, was the first Sonic game I ever played. I remember the triumph I felt as a kid when I finally beat the final boss.
And somehow I beat it without really knowing how to drift.

Iizuka decided, last year that the human worlds and animal sonic world are separate.
Now you might be asking many questions like, why is shadow even on this planet when he should be protecting earth and, what about knuckles island being in the human world in sonic adventure or Why were all the characters in the human world for various gameplots that didn't require them being there.
And many other questions.
I don't have an answer for that, i'm just sure you have questions
TO answer this questions as realist as possible.
Its because Iizuka is a moron that doesn't know shit about the franchise he is suppose to be the boss of.
I mean his 2 world nonsense causes more continuity problems than his previous stupid line of No one can use Chaos control with out an Chaos Emerald.
It's clear at this point at Iizuka has fucked up the canon and completely ruined it, his heart is in a good place but he is NOT good at PR talk or world building.
Iizuka is easily contradicted
This is a good game as long as I'm not using a wii mote. Also it only gets good if I unlock advantage p, advantage s, advantage f, cover p, cover f, cover s, cream, shadow and rouge.
Even with all its flaws, you have to admit the final boss looks really awesome!!

Am I the only one that liked Zero Gravity? It was my first Sonic Riders game on PS2. Is most people buying it on the Wii the reason for all the hate? I liked the first one to, but ZG is probably my favorite in the series. I'm not talking about the third one though...
I actually preferred ZG over the original, despite the original having the cool trick system and drift.
