Yuri: Debuted solo and her music isn’t ballad or osts, her music is pretty much pop magic! Check out her solo debut Glassy it’s amazing and one of this years best songs. Eunbi: Debuted solo with the song “Door” and a mini album. I haven’t listened to the album yet but I will soon so you should to! Yena: Has a twitter account which she has been posting on, and she has actually been confirmed to be debuting solo instead of being added to Everglow. Her debut was meant to be this year but was delayed until 2022! Yujin: Has been confirmed to debut in Starship’s new girl group named “IVE” which means I have. She is the leader and the group is debuting on December 1st. Wonyoung: She is debuting in Starship’s new girl group “IVE” with her fellow iz*one member Yujin. They are debuting on December first. Sakura: She graduated from HKT48 and was reported to have signed with hybe to debut in their new gg. Chaewon: She has been reported to have left woolim and signed with hybe and will debut in their new gg. Hyewon: Is very active on her TH-cam channel and social media. Has an upcoming web drama, and upcoming reality show, and an upcoming photo book. Hitomi: Still in akb48, has a tiktok and is active on social media. Chaeyeon: Is active on social media, I am not sure if she is debuting solo or in group. But she was on swf a dancing show. Minju: Is an mc for music core! From what I’ve seen not much is currently going on but hopefully we get updates soon. Nako: She went back to hkt48.
I'd rather them not build a group around any one member. That is one of the biggest reason produce curse exists. the only way to not get the same stuff that happened to post IOI groups is to make sure everyone gets equal attention and no one member, especially the produce one is pushed more.
@@ashonline77 i agree if yujin and wonyoung get more brand deals but not like pushing them with lines, center time, screentime. Everyone should be equal, and who knows what vocals starship holds.

I hope they showcase the whole group and build a fanbase for the group rather than one or two members regardless of how much I am a fan of yujin and wonyoung that's what I wish for them because that secures their future.
i think the best way to go for starship would be to pull a WJSN/PRISTIN 2.0 by letting the girls who will debut with Wonyoung and Yujin do some promotions without them (though it's already kind of late for that) to build connection with the members as a group. That way people will look fondly at the talents of all the girls as a whole as opposed to seeing them as liabilities to Wonyoung and Yujin's talent (like some people thought of Gugudan in regards to Sejeong)
@@ashonline77 building a group around a member doesn't mean neglecting your other members, starship specially did a great job giving yeonjung attention without having everything revolve around her. what "building a group around her" means is that the groups concept is chosen by what fits that center member the best and the other members are also chosen based on what trainees adapt to this concept the best.
If they don't debut let minju debut with kriesha it would be really nice if she left urban works (or the company can do a joint group with wm) and debuted with chaeyeon. Tho I'm not sure what the chances of that happening are.
She won't debut with Kriesha even though they are close friends, the reason for Kriesha absence from the music scene is because she is suffering from lymphoedema and she is concentrating on dealing with that.

it depends on how the company handles it. if they don't put all their eggs in the produce member basket and actually promote the other members as well, then the group will go great and can utilize the produce member's popularity in a good way. if they push the produce member too much while ignoring other members, the group will fail like most of the post IOI groups. wjsn is a good example of how a company can handle it well. ofc they won't be as popular as izone and it's inevitable but at least they'll slowly be building the fanbase and won't have to disband like post IOI groups. the only member that for sure won't have any problem is actually yena, given that she is added to everglow. The concept fits her, the group is already popular and yena's popularity will only help make it a more mainstream group.

Exactly at least in Japan her Goods are the 3rd most selled for an IZ*ONE member. Internaitonal fans still kinda sleep on her but since Fiesta she has become REALLY popular. Also she is a lot popular in Korea her Panorama fancam on youtube was trending in top 3
I agree Chaeyeon should debut in a group. She's so talented and beautiful but knetz have their extremely ugly beauty standards. If her ifans will buy her stuff as solo then it will be success but for knetz, I don't think so. She should join dance programs to showcase her skills and be known to public.
I'd actually really like chaewon to debut in RocketPunch. despite them not being too popular, it seems like Woollim still has hope for them, and their career might make a turn around in a similar way to Golden Child's. I also think it would be a good idea for chaewon, because despite you believing she doesn't fit the concept, i think her voice shines best in songs that are cuter and brighter (even if she's capable of doing p much any style). Something like Juicy would be perfect in her range. This might also be the push RocketPunch needs to get a big break and hopefully they get a career that's as good as WJSN.

Yeah, and also I feel like saying that "Rocket Punch is quite unsuccesfull" is just bad. Rocket punch had one of the most succesfull girl group debuts in Wollim, their sales are alright + they are quite known in Korea.
I've just done some research and from what I've seen rocket punch doesn't have allot of sales in albums (well if wikipedia is accurate anyway, not quite sure where else i can check), and making a comeback is quite expensive so I can see why he would think they're not that successful, tho I still think calling them unsuccessful is a bit mean.
Yena will definitely join Everglow with your predicted positions but I think she'll be a main vocal instead of lead vocal. Amongst the members, Yena has the strongest voice and technique so she'll be a main vocal with Mia. Also, they might make her a lead rapper or rapper since she has experience from Izone.

Is very clear you don't follow or understand AKB48 and HKT48 as much as you give credit for. As a 48G wota that has been following AKB48 and the SG for almost 13 years now and has followed Sakura since her debut. Tha being said... Sakura is not an AKB48 member, nor a concurrent member. She is only part of HKT48. She had a concurrent position in AKB48 from 2014 to 2017. Besides, Sakura's career in Japan hasn't peaked. She has still to win N1 in Senbatsu Sousenkyo and be crowned as queen. Adding to that, She hasn't debuted as a soloist yet. She has a bright career for herself in Japan if She plays well her cards and with the big of a name she is she will get payed way better in Japan than in South Korea.

If She goes to South Korea her new company would have to make a trade dealership for the license and distribution of her material. Why not better sign in a global distributor like Sony music or Warner music in Japan? It's the same and better for Sakura because that way She can have a big career all over Asia and also be next to her family which she has said many times, misses very much.
