16:36 The snack is a street food that was commonly found near schools in the 60s to 80s, when it was popular with young children. Since the 90s, it hasn't been so common anymore, so its appearance in the drama Squid Game is like a nostalgic device for childhood. Also, in Korea, the meat is grilled and then cut with scissors, but the restraunt servers seems not to pay attention to it. Myeongdong is mainly visited by non-Korean tourists, also there are a lot of foreigners in the business, so the quality of the service seems to be poor. I hope you have a more enjoyable experience and travel in Korea.

The Squid Game is called 'Dalgona Game' in Korean. Anyone born in the '90s would have played it a lot with a grandfather or grandmother selling 'dalgona' on the street in front of their school, but there are koreans who are 18 years old in the world's age i probably in the world age who have never played it before. So the bottom line is, there are people who are familiar with the game even if they are Korean, and there are people who have never experienced it * I'm Korean and I quite like to convey this culture, please look after me make mistakes because my grammar is, haha:)
Even Koreans aren’t familiar with those kinds of street foods, and they’re not typical. I think they were made for tourists. If you want real street food, go to a traditional market. Enjoyed watching the video.

You came to Korea 3 weeks ago. Come to Korea and see Gyeongbokgung Palace and the culture. Kimchi is the best in Korea. And I hope you had a great trip.
So the bottom line is, there are people who are familiar with the game even if they are Korean, and there are people who have never experienced it

I'm Korean and I quite like to convey this culture, please look after me make mistakes because my grammar is, haha:)
Thank you!! 🙏🏼
Even Koreans aren’t familiar with those kinds of street foods, and they’re not typical. I think they were made for tourists. If you want real street food, go to a traditional market. Enjoyed watching the video.
Welcome to Korea. Have a nice time.
Hope you have a good time❤
Joel From UK Nice to See you in SK...! Welcome to Squid Game Country.
Dalgona was a Korean national dessert until 10 years ago. I don't see it often now, but it can be seen consistently at elementary schools and events
wellcome to korea and enjoy your travel🎉🎉
I am a Korean. In Korea, credit card is much more frequently used in daily life than cash. If you use samsung galaxy cell phone, 'samsung pay' is very convenient.
