The Massey Ferguson 300 series was introduced in 1986 as a new general purpose series, with a number of 'specialty models built in Italy.This series replaced the Massey Ferguson 200 series in the low to mid/high hp market. The MF 300 Series Tractor ranged from 3 to 6 cylinder engines with a wide range of gearbox options from manual to speedshift (an early semi automatic). HP ranged from 40 hp to 100 hp.

MF 300 series were great tractors. I drove a 399 for some time in early 2000s. Had a 12/12 shuttle gearbox & hi line cab. Only thing I would have liked was air con. I currently drive a MF 6613. Also a good tractor.

Thanks for posting: had long since left the Masseys, so missed out on this 18-speed "Multipower" improvement. Pity. and what about Pressure Control? used it a lot. Aye Massey's no a Massey without it, and as for now in the 2020's - huh just a red painted machine.
