at my org we use in game VOIP for the squad level and discord for the team lead level,
this is because fighter wings cant communicate over proximity
Very smart, thanks for sharing!!
as a added bonus this makes grouping easier for our pilots and turret gunners because the game automatically groups you together if you're aboard the same ship

o7 ... this was extremely useful, thank you
thanks for watching!
You are very articulate and awesome; your hard work shows!
4th day in this helps a lot, thanks a lot!!!
No prob. You should join our Discord and hang out! I met one of my closest friends by kidnapping him in SC lmao, would love to see some folks popping in from YT!
awesome work! most people skip over this, and it is so important to know
100%. My friends and I are relatively new to SC, and we are able to DOMINATE in PvP because of the basic info covered in this video. Much more efficient than screaming over each other in Discord lmao
I can’t play Star Citizen but when I can I can’t wait to join you!!!
100%, all in due time!
Ok I'll be honest... Didnt know i needed this.
This will be good knowledge for if i evrr plan for team based gameplay.
Thanks for the video dude!
I got you homie, if you ever want some friends to play with come join TFT!
@@TacticalMetalheadoh! I thought that was just for Arma 3! Ok I'll join yeah! Thanks!
GG
Loved the Yoda bit
bro that shit was WILD
Love the yoda edit
lmao glad you liked it homie
Any workaround for VOIP being WAAY to quiet? VOIP Audio Volume is definitely at 100%
What my friends and I have discovered is that you need to talk a bit louder or get your mic closer to your mouth. Also, the "Audio Channels" will sometimes turn themselves off, so that could be a thing. Great comment, I'm sure this will help many
This would be great... If sc comms werent still buggy as fuck at the moment 😂
DUDE I KNOW RIGHT
3:23.... what... the shit?
Gotta be careful when hailing random ships lmao
do u own an org?
Yessir, Task Force Trauma. We're an Arma 3 group and SC is our "chill game" we play occasionally
Is this Star Wars related
100%
Huh?
huh?

Lol you're never going to have a reliable "smooth" experience with the in game voice. TS will always be the better system for large group organization.
Things will improve overtime c:
@TacticalMetalhead not a voip system. They are extremely resource intensive. It's why most games don't bother and those that do are pretty minimal. The size of operations is going to increase much faster than the voip is going too improve. Even discord can't handle the current upper end of group organization.
The voip will be serviceable for small groups but won't hold up as they scale.
@@nip3004 For SCs goals, I'm sure they'll get their VOIP stuff figured out since player interactions is a huge part of the game
@TacticalMetalhead you mean like eve... that ultimately abandoned it or arma that has it at only a base level.
The in game voip only needs to be good enough to facilitate unorganized communication. They will never get to the level that it can compete with a specialized service like TS and if TS is going to be the better tool it's what the better orgs are going to gravitate to. There's nothing wrong with cig relying on a third party tool. If anything it means they can put those resources to better use.
Imagine using teamspeak in 2023.
