- Hello, and welcome to my channel! This is a highly requested video, and it's been a while since my last soap scratching video! This includes fast and aggressive scratching on a variety of soap.

How do I define ASMR?
ASMR is a relaxing tingling sensation often felt in the scalp, neck, and spine caused by various stimuli such as sound, visuals, touch etc. When I experience it, it feels like my brain/scalp is getting a relaxing massage, and makes me feel calm. Many people have different "triggers" that cause this relaxing, tingly sensation such as tapping, scratching, whispering, crinkling sounds, water sounds etc. (the list goes on!).
Why do I make ASMR?
ASMR has helped me through many difficult times, including stress, inability to fall asleep, anxiety, panic, and depression. I know I cannot cure these for you, but my hope is that I can at the very least help you relax and make your day a little better.
The main purpose of this channel is to relax you, and create a calming environment. It is a place of positivity, and to feel safe. Relax, and happy drifting, everyone!

I hope you are all doing well! We are currently under a heat wave where I live (40 degrees Celsius), and our air conditioner broke. I had to film this with my windows closed , fans off, and a mask due to noise and to prevent breathing in soap dust. It was HOT! Like really really hot. The soap was sticking to my hands due to the humidity, but I tried my best. I don’t do well in the heat; I’m a fall/winter gal, so I’m pretty miserable lol. Well, that’s my Canadian weather talk of the day! Love you all ❤️

I had built up an immunity to tingles and for weeks have been struggling because I didn't want to take an tolerance break from ASMR videos. But this video brought so many tingles!

The charcoal soap was my favorite💕
Stay safe in the heat! Drink lots of water and use ice packs, if you have them, on your wrists, ankles, and/or back of your neck! Try not to move around too much, it helps to sit still. I live in Washington state where it usually stays in the 50-60F (10-15C) range, it got up to 116F (46.7C) while our AC was out too! It was miserable! Best of luck!

@@JayLynnASMR cold compresses work well too. A damp sheet over a fan helps as well, but I'm sure you're already aware of most of the ways to stay cool. Best of luck!!

Also talking about the heatwave, I too heard about it in the news and it was also said many people died due to heatwave. Does it occur each year or is it a unusual climatic change?
Thank you very much!! The weather in Canada this year is definitely abnormal. Forest fires across the country, and unprecedented temperatures. We definitely get hot weather here every year, but it’s abnormal to see 40 degree weather in August!
