It was night, the moon was full and shining bright, my skin would reflect any outside house lights, making my self look like a glowing figure. Me and my father would walk our dog around, I had a mosquito repellent bracelet while our Boston terrier, Hercules, wore a flea repellent collar. I would ask my father many questions that were important to me, or something that would make him happy. Talking about cars makes him happy, and I get valuable information from it. We would walk for 30minutes, did my legs get tired? Yes, they did. But I didn't mind it at all. I was satisfied with every walk I would go with him. Did I end up getting bitten by mosquitoes and attract fleas? Yes, that would happen too. But I could care less, I was 5, I was happy. Anytime we would go for car rides, I was sooo happy about it too. I got to see open fields and some bits of the city. The construction kept me up at night sometimes but I was wee little thing and was worn down by the end of the day, just for my body to build it back up and keep me running. We moved two times. North Carolina and then back to New Hampshire. I miss those days in Florida, my father works on cars, served in the Iraq war, and has been with my mother for 20+ years. But his back is messed up, he's missing cartilage in his knees and it can hurt for him. But he still loves us and does things with us. Taking me and my siblings, mom. All to Dairy Joy, a icecream place in Springfield Vermont. That was the only good thing about Springfield, other than me and my sister being born there. Good times.
