I can relate. I don't do much makeup. I like a simple lip gloss, mascara, and I do my brows, that's it. I have to be cautious not to do too much makeup because I will start to look funny 😅
Happy Friday, Ali!! Skin care has never been much of an interest to me then when I hit 50 I got psoriasis & rosacea and then the fun began. Can no longer wear makeup, not even eye liner as it makes my eyes water. I wash my face with Cerave Hydrating Cleanser and use their moisturizers recommended by my dermatologist. These 2 things have helped so much. Your face is always glowing and looks great! Thanks for sharing your tips to great looking skin!

Your skin looks really good. :) FYI: I use castor oil and helichrysum mixed for skin care. I have found the results are pretty darn amazing! The Ordinary is also a line of skin care products that I love. They are priced so reasonably.
OMG! This is my most favorite beauty video EVER! I never got into makeup or skin care (I lived in Japan in my teens and twenties, and none of their stuff worked for this freckle-faced ginger). I’ve recently, since losing 82 lbs, discovered a little mental capacity to start a skincare routine. I actually got ready while watching you, so it felt like we were doing it together. You looked beautiful in your Reddit Recap, so you must be doing everything right! Oh, and the bumpy headband… WTF? 🤣 Scents… right now I guess it’s pine tree for men ‘Tis the season, right? 🎄
Thanks for sharing! I have turned into a Laura Geller fan for makeup. Highly recommend! I use only elemis for my skincare (marine cream and face wash), it is frigging expensive but I am allergic to practically all moisturizers and soaps, so I was just happy to find something that doesnt freak my skin out and actually moisturizes well 😂

I use castor oil mixed with Jojoba oil every night for loose crepey skin and its amazing! also started using a red light Face Neck Massager I got on Amazon.. uff I hate when creams just sit on my skin too that's why I only use the Neutrogena Hydro boost products they are so light and feels amazing! and of course I add a scoop of collagen to my coffee in the mornings.. love your videos!
I recently discovered Dr. Shereene Idress who is a dermatologist in NYC. While she has a super expensive skincare line, I enjoy the videos she does of products with ingredients that that you can get from a drug store for under $25. I don't have tiktok so I watch her vids on youtube like an old person. 😅
I had no idea how badly I needed somebody to mime exfoliating with a hairbrush until now 😂 I was "lucky" enough to get samples of that exact estee lauder. It did not go well. I ended up with my dermatologist fixing issues it created from one use. I should have known from the scent of it. Now I stick with my derm prescription combined with gentle soothing products to look after my skin barrier.
I thought I might try the essence tree oil you were showing but wasn't sure which one to get as when I googled it there were several oils but couldn't find a bottle like you were holding up. Thanks 😊
Great video! I would love to hear your thoughts/research on GLP-1s vs WLS. My "obesity specialist " Dr. is strongly suggesting Gastric Sleeve. I've lost 60 lbs on Wegovy but had to switch to compounded because BCBC of Michigan sucks & will no longer cover it. I would be fine taking the shot for the rest of my life, but she seems to think surgery is my best option. Have you encountered this before? Thanks! ❤
lol- I can't stand the ticky-taps. They do it on any video any more, not just so-called ASMR ones. If a creator does it, I typically just end the video there and find something else to watch. As always, love your content!
