Love this! I have a smart scale (Withings) and it tracks my muscle, fat, water, etc. Since starting my journey, I weighed myself everyday and it’s been amazing to see the fluctuations in weight. Another cause of water weight gain is eating more carbs bc our bodies need more water to process it. I’ve found that I’ll fluctuate +\- 3 pounds. I know weighing every day isn’t for everyone, but seeing the patterns has been extremely helpful for me to not feel like I’m a failure bc the scale has me up. Also, leading up to my period, my body holds onto water like crazy! I started taking a diuretic a couple days before it starts and it also helps with cramps not being as intense and severe. 💙🧡

I have LOVED my local CVS! I have gotten my three month supply with no issue for the last 1 1/2 years! The only time I did a month supply was when I was not sure this was the right medication for me when I first started in July of 2023. Only once doing this time, there was a week delay during the shortage, but I am also the person that calls a week before my prescription is due to get the ball rolling just in case.

Potassium helps regulate salt. Easy to add with creme of tartar mixed in your water. Flavorless. People can also gain water weight when traveling. Especially flying. Usually goes away in a day. Im not a doctor… goes without saying…lol Thank you Ali! Love this channel! Im 51.2 lbs down and my ‘goal’ for ‘ideal’ weight(according to an online height/weight calculator) is 52 lbs. So close! .8 !!!

My 1.5 acre fiefdom for a medium fry! 😂 Seriously though, not only the salt intake/water retention piece is helpful, but its so great that you stress that there are no good & bad foods! Over years of trial & error iit's become clear to me that deprivation of favorites creates a resentful DJ! The salt factor definitely impacts my scale, but videos like this one help us keep things in proper perspective! Thanks so much!❤

And even if you *think* you make "good choices", eating at a restaurant will add a huge amount of sodium. All restaurants use much more salt in all their dishes than you would use cooking at home. So even a meal you eat regularly at home, will be much higher in sodium at a restaurant.

I have been with two compounding companies that use different pharmacies and I ALWAYS have extra doses in my vials.

Nail on the head! When I started my newest vile of Tirz + glycine, I’ve literally had to go way up on my dose because the glycine compound was crazy weaker than my regular Rx (even tho it was only supposed to be like 1/8 of the amount.) So now I know perhaps it was the introduction of the glycine that made the peptide disgruntled. Luckily I have a new Rx with a pharmacy that I’ve used for a long time that I trust more so 🤞🏻

This may be taboo but what do you pay for your 1 month as opposed to 3 month? I’m currently paying $175 a month with insurance help. 😊

Walgreens was awful about my Mounjaro.

My doctor tried to prescribe a 3 month supply. I thought it was my insurance company that stopped it. I got a 3 month supply last spring.

Hi Ali, I was on a 3 week stall after being on zep 2.5 for 7 weeks. As soon as I moved up to 5.0, I dropped 9 pounds in two days. Perhaps are you ready to step up dose?

I have been very lucky with my local CVS, but I think that’s rare. So glad you got a 3-month supply. I remember how stressed I used to be when I had to wait. I have 2-months extra in the fridge now, so I’m a little more chill about it. Stress is bad for weight loss, so 👍🏻 😉

Me too never been a breakfast eater…makes me sick. I do a protein drink a little later in the morning but I’m retired so my day doesn’t have to start early.

Just a helpful note for anyone who can use it-when I told my doc I was having trouble getting 1 month mounjaro supplies at Walgreens she told me to let her know & she’d call the Lilly pharma rep who calls on her office to help! Maybe this is another back door way to get Lilly to help us.

It's funny because I've had outstanding service and luck at a CVS - not the one closest to my house but one in the next city over which is a university town. They are really on the ball there.

I've seen a variety of news media pieces "about compounding" that are actually about people without prescriptions self-ordering grey market *for research purposes only* peptides and reconstituting themselves. Not quite the same as getting a prescription filled at a registered 503a or 503b pharmacy...! If folks are curious, each state has a searchable database of pharmacies licensed to operate there that anyone can use to check and ensure the pharmacy is licensed in their state. Only semi-related: I've also seen a disturbing amount of folks struggling with basic math. :\ It makes me worry about these folks. ("I have two 2ml vials with 10mg in each one, I take 5mg per week, how many weeks of medication is this? How much should I draw up each time??")

My insurance only covers 3-month supplies (of anything!) via mail order with Express Scripts, which is annoying. The copay (while still very costly) is much cheaper with express scripts but... first they have to HAVE it! Bah!
