@@captainrocket9915 thank you for expressing interest! These days I keep it close to the chest, in the event that my managers hook me up with a fabled meeting with Nintendo, or even when A.I. gets good enough. After seeing Sora A.I.'s recent text to video demonstration, I've considered the outcome where I hold out just for that, on the grounds alone that my adaptation is likely too violent for Nintendo's taste. But at the very least, I do intend to produce a sizzle/trailer using text to video A.I. and share that around.
@@calvinbrinenestoris2357 I would be happy to talk broad strokes. Taking into consideration the all encompassing lore, and her perceived reputation as a stone cold killer, I decided to write a character study of Samus and the conditions that shaped her into this powerful silent protagonist. From surviving traumatic wounds as a toddler on K-2L, to being raised by the dying culture that is the chozo, only to be forced at adulthood to reintegrate into the galactic federation; resulting in her feeling alien around her kin...and that's just the first half of the story. There is action and occasional horror sprinkled throughout, but since these games are also mysteries, we stay focused on Samus' perspective as she tries to peel back the layers of schemes put into motion from the likes of Mother, The Thoha Tribe, The Federation and ofcourse Adam Malkovich. Also, to put any concerns to rest, there is ZERO voice over.
Absolutely gorgeous. A tragic piece given a strange sort of silver lining with the iconic themes creeping in. I can imagine this playing during the moment where Rodney sacrifices himself to blow up the Space Pirates' ship in the manga during the raid on K-2L, maybe with heavily-muffled sound effects to put heavier focus on the score. Can't wait to see if there's more of this soundtrack in the future!
Just throwing out some ideas for song names if you're interested. - Deathmarch unto Inferno (Lower Norfair) - The Unforgotten Nemesis (Ridley) - Frontier Wreckage (Crashed Ship/Phantoon's Lair) - Revelations Revisited (Tourian) A bit of bias towards Super Metroid, but maybe this'll generate an idea or two.
Yooo original music goes crazy. This rocks. Can't help but hope that with the success of the Mario Movie and the incoming Zelda movie, we'll see this dream become a reality some day
To be honest, I think a live action Metroid film could work. However, I think it NEEDS to be a serious film. No half steps, horror elements are a must(its part of the settings DNA and the Alien franchise that it was inspired by). Any half steps, then I doubt it would succeed. Best of luck with this project.
I had a small request for a sort of TH-cam-exclusive extension to your album "Fusion: Arranged". That being the Appearance and Item Obtainment fanfares. Due to the their lengths, you could just upload them as a single video (though, if you do decide to do this, please provide the separated fanfares as their own downloads, and just combine them for an upload to TH-cam).
Oh It'll go heavily the electronic route dear Uffe! But I do want to give orchestral/organic instruments to the "human" side of Samus, and of course, that side is just a small part of her story ;))
@@Kassil The human side part makes sense. If you can put an hour long into a video that came out recently, I'll send it your way if you want me to. It was a music contest on a futuristic setting, but some people used more of an orchestral approach while some went electronic. It's not really to give you an idea or suggestion, it's just something I remembered when you brought up the human aspect of your track. Personally, based on this tracks name, it makes more sense to have the approach you went with.
As someone whose adapted the first game into a screenplay as a fan project, this track especially resonates with me. Thanks for sharing!
Would love to see/read that! Is it posted anywhere?

@@MATT_bauer can you at least tell us some of the things you did with it?

Fun fact I'm planning on doing that

Feels very much like Metroid. A cinematic soundtrack for the franchise would be amazing.
Just throwing out some ideas for song names if you're interested.

Thanks so much man! I'll definitely have those ideas in mind.
Damn. Definitely has the feel of Metroid and still feels personal and vulnerable.
Wooooah man, i never expected to see such a project! Love the idea. Hopefylly, Metroid have a Movie in the future
I just can't leave this world without seeing a Metroid movie come to life!
Thanks so much Barbara!

Fingers crossed we see something soon, now that we have a Mario movie and a Zelda one coming 🤞🏻

That ending got my goosebumps skyrocketing.
